Shared bathroom, i.e., toilets don't have any airfreshner. Clothing wodrobe was stuffed with junks , and the room was too warm. The room deco was so poor.

Friendly staff and patrons. Easy access to town centre and train station and Rugby Park. Food and bar service was excellent even on the busy nights.

Hotel WiFi wasn't strong enough to reach the room I was in. Shower head support was broken, this was mentioned to Hotel staff. The couple of negatives don't let that put you off staying there.

Good location - it was close to the train station and short walk from town centre.

We booked an en-suite room for two nights. After paying for the stay upon arrival, they informed us they had double booked our room and we would have to change rooms the second day. We ended up with a small room with a shared bathroom even though we deliberately paid extra for an en-suite. Due to the room change, in the morning we had to hand in our keys for the first room but were not given the keys for the new room because the guests hadn’t checked out yet - we had an event so had to leave without any keys. We later realised that we would not be able to get into the building past 10PM without a key. We called the hotel and explained the situation and the staff member asked us to come back and get the key. I explained we were at a family event that would be on quite late and we could not afford to get a taxi there and back again. She said they close up at 10pm, so we would have to be back by then to get the key otherwise we would be locked out. In the end we had to leave the key with another guest to let us in. When checking out, I asked if we would get any compensation or partial refund for the mistake and the staff member said they would get the manager to contact me. Which they didn’t. I flagged it with booking.com and when they contacted the hotel, they have “strictly rejected” to provide any refund or compensation. Additionally, the room wasn’t very clean and the overall experience was quite stressful and unaccommodating. The staff, although nice people, were not at all apologetic at any point during the stay.

The shower didn't work properly and the bed was uncomfortable. The room was cold and I didn't no how to turn the heater on. I had to sleep with two covers over me until the next morning and the cleaner helped me with the heating

felt like I’d been hotel catfished! room nothing like the images shown. tiny, dirty room with snot on the wall and cobwebs all over. bed was cheap flimsy thing that was broken. just a horrible tiny room. I never went back for my 2nd night, booked somewhere else.

The staff were friendly.

The room was really bad, it had a very uncomfortable mattress that you could feel the springs And the bathroom was disgusting. The toilet didn’t flush and it’s in dire need of upgrading. The tv in the room must have been 18 inch as it was so small I could hardly see it from across the room.

stayed here for work Christmas night out which was held round the corner, staff were very helpful and room was lovely.

rooms are very tired and requiring up grading. one of our rooms had no heating and although staff tried to help by getting electric heater. Rooms very not dirty but did not seem clean either.

The entry to so called car parking one Space avalible only after waiting for catering van leaving .other cars spaces where taken up by staff . And then the DJ for the night unused the exit to park in . . The checkin in was a jock didn’t seam to know I was stating asking me for room details . Room was tiny . The radiator didn’t work . The shall fire in room was on 3 wonky wheels and heated it’s on space only and not the room .the bathroom was discussing and cold see pics . I had booked in as my heating system had failed and I had a cold . My heating was getting fixed that day. I just wanted a warm room a rest a shower and then something to eat . Room didn’t heat up and the dead was the worst I have ever seen and I travel for work all the time .the decor was non existent. The shower was warm for 5 mins then cold . So I got out and ready to go complain . Ut before doing to I tried it once ready and it heated up again so I when back in the shower for it to run cold again in an already cold room . I got ready and thought I would see about food . But I guess the party says early here with load music and no chance of food . I when and packed my things at 5 and waited at the bar for 15 minutes before giving them to one of the two barmaids . I didn’t see the point in saying anything I when home . To my house without heating . And guess what I was happy that place needs removed from your listing . I would also like a full refund . But I guess that won’t happen . I will be posting this on Facebook and trip adviser .
