What can I say? We booked Bonny Colne after reading the reviews and even then it exceeded our expectations! Frank supplied comprehensive information about both the accommodation and local area.Upon arrival, we were able to check in independently. Walking into the apartment immediately felt like home from home.
Inside, there is everything you could need, from a fully equipped kitchen to linen for the bedroom/bathroom.
Bonny Colne is a proper hidden gem, close to the town centre, but tucked away in a quiet residential street.
Parking was easy, in fact everything was just so easy...we've already booked to come back again!

The location is perfectly situated for walking down to the river and up to town. The road is mostly quiet.
The bathroom window had been screwed down, not fixed, so couldn't air the room. The mattress has become lumpy.

A great place to stay. This was our third stay and we have another one in Dec. The apartment has everything you need for a great stay. Highly recommended.
The steps to the property are very steep. There is a handrail and I recommend that you use it.

I felt like I was at home. The apartment was easy to get into; Frank was so accommodating; the kitchen was so easy to cook in - there was nothing we couldn’t find. So lovely when there’s cloths and dishwasher tablets and everything you’d find in your own house. There’s personal touches and a lovely comfy, roomy bed - and the views from the back !!!! We loved it 😍

The steps to the property are quite steep for lesser abled individuals. Fine if you are fit and healthy.

The location. The view from the bedroom and kitchen windows is fabulous. Flat was comfortable. It had everything you needed. We enjoyed our stay.
As other visitors had said, the stairs! The stairs at the entry are steep, as were the ones going up into the flat. Then the stairs going up to the bedroom. You need to be fit, not for anyone with mobility difficulties. I think the flat could be in need of some update in the decor, some areas looking a bit tired.

Clean and well presented.
Outside steps not ideal for people with accessibility issues, especially if wet. We were fine though. Nothing can be done though, except maybe put a warning?

Lovely little apartment, had everything I needed for the long weekend. View from bedroom window absolutely amazing. Was a little worried I'd be too hot in the roof bedroom during the heatwave but there was a fan and I was fine.

Absolutely fabulous apartment everything you could want lovely and clean central location
Anybody who has trouble climbing stairs there are quite a lot especially when loading and unloading the car.

Location was very good for shop and bus services. Flat was clean and very presentable. The host provided a lot of information as to the facilities in Colne which was useful for my short three day stay.
There were steep steps to the property door and then a stairway upto the apartment. As I live in a bungalow this was harder than I anticipated.

We loved everything about Bonny Colne On The Hill. Fantastic apartment, easy location to local shops restaurants etc. We will definitely stay again.

Excellent communication from Frank, the owner. Detailed info on locating the key etc meant no stress in this regard. Lots of useful local info re: eating out and other facilities. Very spacious - and very well cared for. Proved to be an excellent base for me whilst working away from home for 4 days.
The only point I would make, totally out of the owner's control, is that the steps into the building and the stairs as well are very steep - not a prob for me, but could be an issue for others.

Amazing place! This is an exceptional place. It's packed with everything that you'd possibly need, from kitchen basics, shampoos/shower gels ... even the book case had a great range. We cannot fault anything. The parking is free (permit provided), it's very quiet yet only a short walk into town. The bed was very comfortable and the central heating kept the place very cosy.

Apartment had all the comforts of home
The host, Frank, gave fully detailed, clear and concise instructions to any questions you could possibly ask. He also gave a very informative guide to the local shops and amenities.
