Ideal location, unique property, larger than expected, safe parking with large gates-once parked we were on foot for the duration of the break. Plenty of restaurants in area. Able to watch the lock operating and water traffic passing occasionally right in front of the house.

Crossing the road to the docks and constant sound of cars crossing the bridge, although it was background sounds and not loud enough to disturb you. Unable to open windows due to secondary glazing and very old wooden frames. Stairs were steep.

The location was brilliant Was on it’s own so peaceful

Fabulous location in centre of Gloucester and also by the river. A historic property which was lovely, with good facilities and parking. Very good value for money.

if you’re looking for a period property with matching furnishings this is fantastic. There’s nothing not to like but don’t expect modern .. it’s lovely and exactly how it looks.

Location location location!!

The old bridge beside the house was a little bit noisy but you quickly get use to it.
