Very comfy, clean, spacious, peaceful, great location for Alton towers, absolutely perfect

I liked everything about the property

Beautiful scenery, ideal location for visitiing Alton Towers. House had plenty of room and was tastefully decorated. Lovely setup with both the living room seats and the huge dining table. Adequate heating. Plenty of storage room.

Kitchen could do with a couple more glasses, especially (I imagine) with a full 9 to 10 person occupation. Left 2 heaters of the stove seemed less hot than the right ones. Bed pillows were way to thin. Also cleaning could be improved, smears from wet cleaning were visible and the invisible parts of the carpeted floor weren't all free from dust. Tip: Tell taxi drivers the house is very close to the Alton Towers entrance!

Location for Alton Towers was perfect! Great bedrooms and comfy beds.

A larger kitchen bin and bins in the bathrooms would have been great.

The ground floor is loaded with a lot of unnecessary furniture moving around the living and dining room is difficult no suitable place for coats and umbrellas there is a washing machine but no laundry drying rack

2 minute walk to Alton Towers

Dirty, mould ridden, broken grout in all 4 bathrooms. Dirty walls, mould in fridge, mould growing on some internal doors. Ground in dirt on sofas. Sticky ground in dirty on dinning table and chairs. Nasty rust on electric heaters, especially the one next to the table and bench in the dinning room part if the property The property has bags of potential if it was actually looked after and cared for by the owners. Tired, dirty, revolting interior. Definitely not home from home as claimed. We were booked for 3 nights and could only bear to stay for 2 nights which was a big ask for us. Unless a complete interior revamp is carried out and the property brought up to a decent standard, we would never stay there again. Broken, collapsing outside seating area/furniture is a safety hazard. Mould on the carpets and some bedroom doors. All in all the property made us feel dirty to the core and hygenically unsafe from the moment we entered. We had high hopes from the exterior look of the property but unfortunately this was short lived as soon as we opened the door and stepped inside.

My family and I was going to Alton Towers for a couple of days, I found this lovely house on booking.com which was perfect for all 10 of us and ideal for Alton Towers.

Proximity to Alton Towers. Nice parking. Clean. Owner was very nice.

A couple of the mattresses could do with replacing.

So close to Alton towers, easy to walk into the park. The house was well equipped and there was plenty of space. The outside area was lovely and the kids really enjoyed the woods at the bottom.

Couldn't find any blackout blinds so the rooms were very bright. The book said there should be some but I gave up and used a towel which did the trick.

Felt at home. Comfortable. Log burner provided with logs etc. Peaceful surroundings. Walking distance of theme park.

Couldn’t be any closer to the theme pk. Lots of lovely walks outside ur door step too. Plenty of room in the house. Clean and warm.

Beds were very low off the ground

Felt really homely
