Winterwood Retreat es un tranquilo lugar de alquiler de vacaciones en Steamboat. We had a small group drive up from Denver to stay at the condo in Steamboat. We had a great time. The condo was stocked with what we needed for meals, everyone had a bed, and the common areas offered plenty of seating for everyone. The fire place was cozy and the patio/grill were a nice addition that you don't often get. The personal sauna was also a nice touch!

Nice place but needed some TLC. Major problem: mouse droppings in the downstairs bathroom and along wall baseboard.
Less than major problem the downstairs shower handle was broken and master bathroom shower drain backed up. Plumber had work it over but did a great job.

We had a great time staying here with our group of family and friends! We were able to easily shuttle ourselves to the Thunderhead chair lift for skiing. Also the home had enough chairs so that we could all sit around the dining table and eat together, which is sometimes hard to find.

Nice property. Changes have been made to the dining room chairs and bar stools, they are metal now. Sauna is awesome! Adults stayed on the third floor with the king bed and trundle while the kids stayed in the basement. Shuttle was convenient. 3 full bathrooms were awesome for 8 people.

Had a group of friends up for a weekend away in Steamboat and this place was great! Comfy, clean. The shuttle service was super convenient and the drivers were always so nice. The company was super responsive with communication if any questions arrived.

Rather than repairing or replacing broken appliances iTrips or the owner decide to just email several days in advance and notify us that we should manually do dishes. They didn’t have a sink plug, a dish drying rack or hand towels to dry the dishes. The broken dishwasher was filled with horrible smelling sludge.
Do not recommend this property or any property managed by iTrips.

This was an amazing place to stay! It has everything that you could ever think of needing while you are on vacation. To our family, it was just like being at HOME!
The check in process was nice and smooth. The communication with the owners (even before arrival) and even the rental company was fast and exceptional.
The location was great and the drive up to the property was magnificent!!! It was surprisingly a lot closer to the mountain that we expected which was a good thing. It is also located in somewhat of a secluded and quiet area which is exactly what we wanted. Oh and the areas around the property for us to just play in the freshly fallen snow were perfect!
The amount of room/ space for a family of 4 was more than we expected. The kitchen had more appliances, pots/pans, utensils than we could have ever imagined. My kids were even surprised with the "crockpot" that was available. Of course they mentioned that the only thing it didn't have was an "air fryer" but that's just because they were looking for something that the kitchen did not have.
This place had more than enough of extra blankets, sheets, pillows, and towels for our family. Which was something that we definitely appreciated. Oh, and I cannot forget to mention that there was an abundance of paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher soap, sponges, and even toilet paper!!
I definitely want to thank this place for having their "Magic Bag" vacuum pump available for use. This is because I accidentally forgot to bring ours with us so I was a bit worried on how I would re-seal our bags for our trip back home.
The only SLIGHLTY negative thing that we had to say about this place was that the two curtains in the living room did not completely cover the entire back sliding door. However, this was easily "fixed" by using a bed sheet to help cover this opening.
This is DEFINITELY a place that me and my family agreed on that we would love to stay again while in Steamboat! Thank you again for having us and for also having everything we could have needed during our stay !

My wife and I spent four nights in Townhome #2. Check in was smooth and the property was exactly as advertised, No unwelcome surprises. The beds and furniture were comfortable and the location to the trails we hiked was perfect. If we visit Steamboat Springs again, we will contact iTrip and rent this same townhouse again.

Great location
Best part of this rental was the location. The shuttle drop off to thunderhead was very convenient but is notable that it does not run from 10-2:30. We walked home for lunch the first day and it was not a convenient walk in ski boots. After day 1 we figured out how we could best manage our schedule to utilize the shuttle. The layout was excellent for two families—each staying on a separate floor and having the common area on the ground floor. Cooking pans were in a little disrepair and are no longer non-stick, but no way the owners or property management company could know that without being notified. Based on the great conditions of the entire place, I am certain this will be an easy fix. Wouldn’t hesitate to rent again if we come back to steamboat. The management company was wonderful to work with—very responsive to any questions and went above and beyond when answering them, even late at night. Great experience overall!

Good mountain getaway with easy shuttle access
This location is very nice but definitely not walking distance. They have a great shuttle service available though. The cookware could use an update but everything else was great!!!

Excellent location, close to the lift. The sauna was extremely nice after a long day of skiing and was the perfect size for a short getaway.

Great trip
Our trip was fantastic! Everything was provided that we needed, and more. I love how it was all labeled as well! And when we had problems with the fireplace, someone was there within 30 minutes trying to fix it. Great hospitality!

Great Location in the woods
We loved this condo. It wasn’t apart of some big complex and had a great balcony overlooking trees and a creek. Interior was very clean and bright. Beds were comfortable. It wasn’t an issue for us but the third bedroom is accessed only through the master so I felt it should have been advertised as a two bedroom. We would definitely stay there again

Excellent Location.
Somewhat dated interior. No deadbolt or other method of securing front door other than cypher door knob. Little privacy at night on main floor due to lack of window coverings. BBQ rusted out.
It is however an excellent location in the trees next to a stream that kept it cool during the heat wave without air conditioning. I'd stay again for reasons of the location.

Great location, not exactly childproof
Great secluded place with beautiful scenery, and a creek running right behind the condo. We loved the back porch! About a 10 minute drive to downtown. iTrip staff was extremely helpful and responsive with any issues we had. Our only complaint (and this would not be an issue for everyone) was that we were traveling with our almost 2 year old toddler, and the place wasn’t exactly child proof. We brought our own safety gates for the stairs, but the balusters on the railing separating the stairs between the main floor and basement were spaced farther apart than what is considered safe by today’s standards (there was at least 6” between rails I would guess). Our toddler could have easily fit between the balusters and fallen downstairs. We used spare sheets to tie across the railing to keep that from happening, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. The railings on the balcony were the same way. The property is also located up a fairly steep drive, so if you are planning on biking from the property, it would a pretty intense climb back up. We ended up driving our bikes into town to access some flatter bike trails. Other than that, though, we enjoyed the place and had a great time! Even got to see a bear walk right past our front door!

Cozy home close to the slopes!
The best part of this unit is definitely its walkability to Thunderhead Lift. Even though there's not a designated sidewalk, there are few enough cars driving around, and the ones we passed were all very cautious and gave us a wide birth. The home itself is well-stocked and very cozy. Some things to note are that the extra bedroom with the trundle is connected to the master bath, so whoever stays there must walk through the master bedroom, and that the fan in the kitchen isn't directly over the stove, so cooking can sometimes set off the smoke detector, Overall, wonderful stay though!

Comfortable and Great Location
This property is secluded in a quiet location with easy access to hiking trails within walking distance. It was a quick drive to downtown and the ski area. Beds were comfortable and the property was clean. Would recommend.

Perfect location
Lovely unit. Quiet, don’t hear any noise from adjoining unit. Very spacious with lofted ceilings. Three stories, so plenty of room to spread out. A nice patio that faces trees and the Burgess Creek which you can hear Bubbling in the background. Hiking trail head right across the street. Large parking lot with plenty of spots.

Amazing Home
Great place! We were so thankful for everything provided by iTrips. There was dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, lots and lots of towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. There is plenty of room with lots of beds, two pull out couches, a bunk bed, another bed, a king bed, and a trundle bed. We had an amazing time in our home and are looking forward to booking with iTrips again.

The condo was very comfortable and had excellent access via buses to the slopes that run every half hour. One of the baseboard heaters seemed to be working overtime and I trust the management company will address this.

Excellent accommodation
We (couple: husband and wife) stayed 3 nights in this great townhome. Quiet and comfortable says it all. Kitchen well stocked with needed items, all appliances worked great. Sofa's were perfect with good wifi. what more could you want. Baths were clean and modern, towels were soft and like home. Loved the outdoor grill (worked great). Only used upstairs master bedroom with king bed.Big room with all toilet items stocked well...even body lotion. Will be back as soon as possible and will rent this Townhome again.

Great property!
Had a wonderful stay with no issues. Quite and secluded, even with neighbors right next door. The trees and creek running behind the property were beautiful and made sitting and eating on the patio a memorable experience. Plenty of room for 5 adults, and the extra full bath on the main floor was great.

Perfect Getaway
What a beautiful private home away from home. Perfect for a romantic getaway or family fun! Enough room for more than one family and definitely kid friendly. The kitchen is well equipped ... we enjoyed having pizza and game night as a family. Lots of puzzles and games to play. There is plenty to explore around the property and close to town for shopping and dining out. We came during off season - and had the perfect setting to unwind and refresh. Steamboat visit
Property is conveniently located close to town in a wooded setting. It is laid out well, clean and has good amenities. No problems at all with the property itself. Check in and communication with the rental agency were good. Only minor issue is that there is some traffic noise associated with vehicles going up the hill on the road behind the facility that can be heard on the deck in the morning and evening. Otherwise a solid property and we would definitely stay again.
