A charming boutique hotel in the centre ville. Easy walking distance to restaurants and places of interest. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

Everything! The bed was comfortable and a good size. I loved how the toilet was separate from the shower and mirror area too. More hotels should do that. And the location was perfect. A quick 10 minute walk from the train station to arrive and close to the centre of Bayonne and all the bars, shops, restaurants etc. We'd definitely stay here again.

The prices at the hotel bar. Though I will say the one cocktail I did have was delicious.

Location was great. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. The staff were helpful making the stay very enjoyable.

The hotel is very modern and offers you all the facilities you would need. There is a nice restaurant downstairs that is convenient if your stay is short. The staff is nice and well trained. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is well proportioned.

Walking distance to everything

The Wi-Fi was horrible, dropped continuously and you had to re-sign in each time. I asked reception about it and they said it had to do with your iPhone settings (so they were aware of the issue), but didn’t know how to fix it. Very poor lighting in the room, it was so dark. No refrigerator. No cream/milk for the coffee. Bad hair dryer. You had to register at reception to use the gym. It was on our floor and I saw someone come up to use it who just had knee surgery moving slowly on crutches and the poor guy had to go back down to reception to ask for access, at least if they told you in advance that would be better. We got there 30 minutes before the 3pm check in and the room wasn’t ready so had to wait. Another day we left at 8am and returned at 3pm (when things are closed in town btw) to the room being cleaned which explained why it wasn’t ready when we showed up the first day, but it was annoying. I wanted to put out a do not disturb sign before leaving that day, but there wasn’t one in the room. The staff seemed to have an attitude, except for one outgoing and proactively helpful woman at the bar/restaurant.Also, the toilet was in a separate room with no sink so you had to go to the shower/bathroom to wash your hands. And you need to like that shower room is visible from the outside!!

Excellent location Nice reception staff Available paid parking off site approx 2 blocks away in uncovered lot; Room was modern, clean and well decorated. The best unexpected feature - their restaurant where the food was amazing! Initially we strolled to dine outside but were surrounded by “tourist trap” restaurants. We didn’t want to take the risk of crappy food so we googled and read the fine reviews of the dining place at the hotel. We went back and were pleasantly surprised at not only how good the food was, but also the great ambiance of the place. Most of all, there was a remarkable jazz pianist playing jazz standards and nostalgic broadway tunes!

The decoration was lovely, some staff very helpful and location excellent

Staff in the bar/restaurant area were aloof and seemingly unwilling to serve drinks. The first night we sat for around 15 minutes while three young men busily did nothing, both bar and restaurant were empty, eventually we managed to order two glasses of poor wine. The next night we waited 20 minutes and gave up!
