Such a beautiful spot and a very lovely home with extremely comfortable beds in the main house. We enjoyed kayaking and exploring the gorgeous garden. Wonderful that we were able to take our dog, too. The hosts were very attentive and helpful. The house was well equipped and we wanted for nothing. It was also only a short drive to Kerikeri to get supplies.

Fabulous location - just over ten minutes from Kerikeri township, but a world away too! Peaceful, serene and so relaxing. The outlook and location is beautiful. The seascape changed every day, and seeing the oyster farms appear and disappear was really cool. We counted well over twenty tui in one of the garden's trees, and loved watching the quail dotter around the garden, and seeing the pheasants swoop. We stayed here with our 12 year old son, who loved the wildlife (including visiting the donkey next door - who definitely wasn't wild! - and wandering down to the beach with him). The home has everything - so well equipped - and immaculately clean and tidy. Such comfortable beds! Loved our mid-winter retreat. Thanks so much to Denis and Christine for sharing their home with us.

Very helpful and friendly owners

This house and cottage are beautifully located and we could launch our boat at the property. The owner (who was nearby) gave us a lot of help with boating and fishing information. The house was amazingly equipped, particularly the kitchen. A very comfortable place for a relaxing holiday in a special part of New Zealand.

Loved the location. Could see sooo many stars ! Good location for night photography. Close to Paihia. There was a beautiful brewery named Phathouse! Must try!!! Also the Cafe Jerusalem was amazing! The host was great! Place was 5 star
