A group of 60+ stayed for one night and loved sitting on the huge deck enjoying the music cascading across from the bay. The cottage is very comfortable for a group and we loved the music room. Michael was a great host! We all would stay there again.

Great location, kitchen was well stocked with cooking items, outdoor area was relaxing.

Views from bay side of house and deck were great, house was very clean, if a bit dated, there is a city park with playground and sand beach two blocks walk away, the dock is serviceable(24’ boat with ~ 3’ draught), lots of things to do close by, about 1/2 hour to Lake MI by boat, great boat launch/cleaning station five minutes away, quiet neighborhood, lots of games and TVs if the weather turns bad. We’ll stocked kitchen and plenty of towels.

4 of us stayed the night before a fishing trip, unique comfortable home with lots of character, a music lovers den and amazing views, comfy beds

The cottage was charming and very clean. Yes, as I read in other reviews it may be a bit dated, but that’s part of the charm. Would definitely stay there again.

The area where the house is located is beautiful and situated right on the inlet of green bay. Sitting on the balcony looking out over the water at the surroundings were very comforting and exciting. I wish we had planned to stay there for more days than we did. It's very close to other activities within walking distance.

This little cottage on the shore of Sturgeon Bay was perfect for our overnight stay in Door County! There were 2 married couples staying for 1 night. It was clean and quaint inside, had a dock and fire pit outside, and was easy to find. The owner was quick to respond to questions through the VRBO messaging system and was extremely accommodating to our needs. For the money we would have spent on 2 rooms at a hotel or B&B we had a way nicer stay here! Will definitely look at this place again when we return to Door County! Thank you M!

Great view of the bay

My friend's and I loved staying at this scenic waterfront cottage! The views were fantastic and the cottage provided a great space to hangout and relax both indoors and outdoors. Highly recommend!

It was everything the way I expected. Awesome place, clean house with everything one need to enjoy the place, and the host was very helpful.

Check In is 3. I contacted the owner numerous times because there was no check in information or codes to get in house. Finally around 5 I heard from him. Lockbox with house keys in it was very inconvenient to access, especially in the dark. The space size is nice but very outdated and unusual set up. The deck furniture looks like it’s in a trailer park. For the amount I paid per night I am extremely disappointed.

This was a perfect place to stay for my friends and I. There were 3 of us and we had 3 nice bedrooms. The king room bed was softer and the other 2 beds were firmer. They had a nice roomy kitchen. The view was great. We wanted so badly to have patio time, but the weather had other plans for us (it was raining). There was a nice fridge that allowed is to store food and cook there. The bathroom had nice toilet paper. I know this sounds weird to write in a review, but all 3 of us commented how nice it was not to have cheap toilet paper. We noticed! The temperature in the house was perfect as we had access to the thermostat and could turn it down or up as needed. We were very pleased with our stay. Host was quick with responses when we had a question.

This was a great place to stay while we explored Door County. The view and deck were amazing.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely lake house. The deck has almost 180 degree views of Sturgeon Bay, and the cozy cottage is stocked with musical instruments, games, & books to play with. It was a great place for a family getaway. The house isn't fancy, but it's quite comfortable, and accommodated our group of 6. The neighborhood is very nice & close to downtown Sturgeon Bay and a park with beach access to the lake. It was a great base location for seeing sights in Door County and we'd be glad to stay there again.

Little older than we were expecting. Great view overlooking the harbor. No bells or whistles though. Wifi and TV's did not work. Owner was non-responsive in that regard. Watched TV on our phones. Not ideal.

Nice place, location, just needs more remodeling/updating done.

Everything was perfect. Check in process super easy and detailed. House is so homey and has an amazing view. Beds were very comfortable and clean! 5 min drive into downtown. He thought of everything! Will be back!

Clean communication could have been a little better.

Mike couldn’t have been more helpful in knowledge of the area and his local suggestions. Mike quickly responded to the questions that I had about the door county area.

The pictures don't really do this place justice. Yes, it's an older property, but they've made some lovely upgrades. The views out the windows are stunning. Mike does a very good job providing his guest with a great place to stay as well as a little extras in case you forgot something. The location could not be more perfect and actually is well within walking distance of certain area attractions. For us, we only had one suggestion. Add an extra step to the front door.

Stayed this past weekend and Mike is one of the best people you’ll meet . The view from the giant deck overlooking the water is incredible ! I docked my boat right in front at his pier and it was a truly great time !! Thanks Mike !! Can’t wait to get back there next year !!

House had enough space for what we needed. 3 bedrooms and a pull out couch. A smart tv was in every room. There was a beach a park a block away. Wifi was available but wasn't always a strong connection.

The house was very clean and had all the accommodations. We were woken up by the breath taking sunrise from the master bedroom and finished the morning on the deck sipping on coffee in this peaceful setting.

The property was run down, many un finished projects in the house. Flooring without thresholds, uneven from room to room...some real safety issues from inside to out. While the owner was nice and helpful, he misrepresented this property. Really expected a cleAn property and the ability to use the fire pit and dock. The dock was missing numerous planks of wood , it was unsafe. The outside was unuseable except for the deck., the grassy areas and out buildings ( sheds) were littered with debris.Curtains hanging at windows were filthy, one outdated bathroom with gross sink,cabinets that are falling apart, kitchen utensils , plates , glasses ,etc had to be washed prior to use. The best part if this property is that it is on the water and has great views of the ship yard , with the ability to walk to shops and restaurants. Had it not been a holiday weekend, we may have found other accommodations. Have rented thru VRBO previously, but after this experience may not do so again if properties are not vetted better.

We spent our days with friends who rented a larger place with a private swim beach for 450.00 less than we paid. Having owners below you feels like you have less privacy. The beds were hard.
