Historic Old Town Georgetown TX
Encantadora casa de 1930 en el histórico casco antiguo de Georgetown. A un corto paseo de la plaza de la ciudad para cenar, bares de vinos, música en vivo, compras y varios eventos durante todo el año. A pie de la Universidad del Suroeste. Caminatas y senderos para bicicletas en las cercanías, que comienzan en el parque San Gabriel, serpentean a lo largo del río hasta el lago Georgetown y no se olvidan de Blue Hole. We (four adults) stayed at this property for a long weekend to celebrate a family birthday in Georgetown. The house is small but well furnished, comfortable, and in a location walkable to the entire historic district and university area. Highly recommend.

The location and neighborhood were great. It’s proximity to the town square, San Gabriel River and trail, and the Blue Hole couldn’t be beat. The property was clean and well maintained. Neighborhood was beautiful and quite. The host was communicative and the check-in process was easy and without issue.

We were able to spend a week in this magnificent home. The hosts were wonderful in communication and accommodations and the house was equipped with everything we could need. The beds were comfortable, the decor was stylish and the entire home was just perfect. We stayed during the coldest week of the year so far. The home was toasty and the cable/streaming options were more than enough for the large amount of time we spent indoors. When it did warm up slightly, we biked to the town square and parks that were in close proximity to the house. My wife and I will be back soon and often. Thank yall very much for a great week.

I was very impressed with your property. One thing I would suggest is you put a grab bar in the bathtub. I am 80 years old and feel it would be beneficial for my safety as well as everyone else taking a shower. I washed the towels for you. I would recommend this location to anyone coming to Georgetown.

My husband and I stayed in this wonderful cottage for three weeks while visiting family in Georgetown. It’s in a quiet, safe neighborhood as well an easy walk to the square.
The cottage had everything we needed, including comfortable beds and basic kitchen supplies. We highly recommend staying here.

I traveled with family and friends to Sandra and Greg's place to meet-up with local contacts and observe the April 8th 2024 Total Solar Eclipse. This location gave us a perfect base from which to explore the area, but be apart from the fray. If I get back this way again, I will definitely consider a return visit.

Our stay was wonderful. We have been using VRBO and other organizations for 6 years, this home by far has been the cleanest place we have ever stayed at. Check in was so easy. We did not have to call the owners since they left us easy instructions. When we come back to Georgetown we will for sure check if this home is available.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Georgetown. The location was perfect for accessing the historic square, coffee shops, restaurants and all the shopping. It is a great mid point if you are wanting to also check out Wimberley and Waco.

We had a great girls’ trip to Georgetown. This house is within walking distance of the square and all the shops and restaurants it has to offer. The neighborhood is quiet and we had plenty of space for everyone. Netflix and Amazon prime were a great addition. Definitely would stay again.

Great location in a nice neighborhood within easy walking distance of restaurants and shopping.
The cottage was clean, the mattresses and bedding comfortable, and the kitchen and bath stocked with essentials. There is a fenced in yard with a small deck and Adirondack chairs— a perfect spot to read a book or visit with a friend.

We loved our visit to Georgetown! Sandra and Greg were beyond wonderful with questions we had and the vrbo was so cute and perfect for our girls weekend. We were able to walk to downtown with little kids and enjoy the sunshine in the yard!
