Everything was just lovely for our holiday week at this beach house. The kitchen was well-equipped, bedrooms were comfortable, and the whole house was cozy. But we came for the beach: and wow, the views took our breath away! Sunrises, sunsets, snow, fog… it was all beautiful with the waves crashing right out the windows. We are birdwatchers, too and saw plenty of scoters (black and sea), old squaws, sandpipers, loons, eiders, and gulls. We will be back!

This was my first time using VBRO, and I can only hope any future trips have such a wonderful host and accurate property descriptions. Sophia was amazing to work with from booking to when we left the property today. Within 30 minutes of of our booking, she had sent me a welcome message asking if I needed anything and to reach out at anytime. We had zero issues with the property during our stay, but Sophia had given me her cell in case we did. I kept in touch sending her some photos during our long weekend, and she was almost as excited as we were about all the fun we were having. Thank you so much, Sophia, for making this an amazing trip. The property location and house itself were every bit as advertised, with incredible ocean views from all three levels. The back deck led right onto the sand, and depending on the tide, the ocean was either 20 yards or 120 yards away. We loved listening to the surf and walking on the beach at low tide. The house is close enough for a short drive to many restaurants, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to seem like you have the beach nearly to yourself. Property was very clean and the 5 bedrooms/4 bathrooms were fantastic. Thank you again Sophia, and we will definitely use this property and host again!

Perfectly situated on Wells Beach, ME, this beautiful, well appointed beach house provides the home base for a wonderful vacation. Lots of amenities, very clean, with every feature anyone might want. We loved it!

Beautiful spacious beachfront house, perfect for this group of childhood friends for a girls week. Lots of bathrooms for 7 women ! We watched the sun rise over the ocean several mornings from our deck. It is close to everything you need too. Can’t wait to come back. The owner was very open to feedback when we left and accommodating to us even prior to making my reservation. Worth every bit!

We had a wonderful vacation with our children and grandchildren. Having access to the beach from the house was perfect for the grandkids. They enjoyed the beach immensely. The beach house was roomy and very clean. The layout was perfect for 3 family's. Would enjoy returning in the future.

We had a perfect weeklong stay. The house had everything we needed and more with towels, sheets, beach chairs/toys, pots/pans, large gas grill and other accessories. The gigantic TVs were great to catch-up on the Olympics and it was a nice luxury to have AC for the one night we needed it. The ocean views from the large dinner table were as beautify as you will ever find. The owners were amazing and responsive, we thank you for sharing your beautiful beach house with us for a memorable week with our family.

Booking and planning was very easy. The Hostess was very pleasant in all emails! The house was gorgeous and perfect for the 8 of us. We used some of their pantry items and left some too!

Everything was just perfect. House is spacious, everyone has their own bedroom, plenty of showers—no waiting for one after a beach day! There wasn’t one thing the house lacked. Sophia our host was quick to respond to a couple of questions we had and was very patient when we bothered her for something we couldn’t find (that was hiding in plain sight). Just the best place to relax at the beach with family. Thank you Sophia!

Super clean, everything we needed for a great stay at the beach.

This house has the perfect layout for a multi-family vacation. We had two families with four people and one family with two people. Each family had a section of the house that included a bathroom. Most rooms have beautiful views. The location is perfect. Another major plus is a shed with anything you could possibly need to enjoy the beach. We would love to stay here again!

I can’t put into words how much we enjoyed this property. Right on the beach is an understatement. Privacy, location, the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen. We wanted to travel for my wife’s bday but because of COVID weren’t ready to fly. We live in RI and drove to property. We left with some of best memories we have from our family vacations. My wife and I listened to waves crash all night and kids couldn’t wait to get up and watch sunrise. The owner couldn’t have been easier to work with. We definitely would come here again

Last minute, My husband and I, and another couple decided we needed a weekend away. Sophia was super accommodating making sure we had everything we needed. The house is exactly as it appears in the pictures. It was amazing to be able to open the door and be steps from the beach (even though it was winter). It was great to hear the waves crashing as you were falling asleep and the sunrises are spectacular. We all left the house so much more relaxed than we were when we arrived. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to friends.

This house was exceptionally clean upon our arrival. Beautiful location right on the beach. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes and pots and pans to cook meals. Keurig and drip coffee maker were very convenient. Plenty of cleaning supplies, garbage bags, toilet paper, soap, which was unexpected during this pandemic. The shed had plenty of beach chairs and beach toys. It all just felt so much like home. Adjustable thermostats in nearly every room made keeping the house warm on chilly evening easy. The view from all but one of the bedrooms is of the ocean, which let us watch the waves even on a cold windy day. We will definitely be back again.

My New Husband and I rented the Beautiful Home which is directly on the Beach to get married and have a Beach Wedding. Sophia was absolutely amazing in her ongoing communication and answers to my many questions! The house is gorgeous and large enough to stay socially distant during this crazy time when needed. The views are spectacular and the sound and smell of the ocean right at your feet is amazing. Steve and I were able to be married on the Beach and Sophia even provided a Beautiful Sunny day for our Beach wedding!!! It was truly a Dream come true! Our family fell in love with the location and home and can't say enough about how Special the property, beach and owner are!!! All Thumbs Up!!! Thank you Sophia for helping to make our Wedding so very Special!!

The property was perfect! Two king beds was a must! Comfortable living quarters. TVs great! Grill was awesome. And of course being right on the beach and with full moon! All within distance of fun things to do, eat and whatever. We will be back!

The house was simply beautiful and the perfect spot for our annual beach getaway with family! Sophi was such a pleasure to work with, very responsive and available to address any questions we had throughout our stay. I would wholeheartedly recommend this house to anyone and we're looking forward to the opportunity to visit again!

From the location, to the amenities, to everything in between, this house is an A+! We had nine people staying, 6 adults and 3 children, and the house was a perfect size! Enough space and bathrooms for everyone to feel comfortable. The proximity to the beach cannot be beat. Honestly, you roll out of bed onto the beach. It's super helpful with small children, as you don't have to pack a ton of snacks, drinks etc for the beach since the house is just steps away! Sophia is SUPER responsive and sweet. We cannot wait to return next summer!!

We cannot say enough good things about this rental and the contribution it made to our vacation. The weather was perfect. The house was perfect in every way - the location, the furnishings, the amenities, the views.... did I mention THE LOCATION! We arrived late at night and walked straight to the beach and reveled at the sights, sounds and smells of the ocean at our feet. We awoke the next morning to a glorious sunrise - the view of which from the upstairs bedroom are breathtaking. Everyone knows that the ocean is the main event, but the marsh views from upstairs are equally gorgeous. From the beach you can't help but notice that this houses windows, especially the ones on the second and third floor ARE THE LARGEST on the beach - the better to be woken by the sun and the surf to start the day. Some reviews have complained that the upstairs (3rd floor King bed) lacks AC. In our experience, we only ran the AC in the middle of the day to take the edge off the midday heat. Each day, around 6:00 or so, the temps would drop enough that I would open EVERY window and allow the sea breeze to take over and at no point did anyone complain about sleeping to the sounds and the cool temps of night time Maine sea breezes. Sleeping to AC when that is available to you is a CRIME. This house came equipped with EVERYTHING we could need for the perfect vacation. We didn't watch TV during our stay (we played board/card games that we brought and the ones that came with the house - there are many for all age groups! For those that wish to watch TV, the TV's are modern, SMART, High Def, Gorgeous, and easy to use. We used the main TV to listen to music when we cooked meals. For outdoor activities, the owners are kind enough to provide beach chairs, umbrellas and other toys to keep everyone busy and happy. Please be mindful that these are their personal effects. My kids accidentally broke two boogie boards learning to ride some nice (for Maine) waves and we promptly replaced them at the end of the week. Please respect their property - that's the least we can do since getting to use their thing helped make our vacation even better. Sophia (the owner) was great to deal with and reached out to make sure that we didn't need anything. The house was spotless upon our arrival - Like HILTON Resort Hotel spotless! The custom soaps, shampoos and conditioners are a really nice touch. This was the perfect family beach getaway that felt almost like a resort.
