I have been staying at Carillon Beach for 47 years. First, at Pinnacle Port and then in many different houses once our family outgrew the condo. This week we arrived at this clean and beautiful home. It was exactly as listed. Clean, spacious, plenty of seating. There was an air conditioning issue and it wasn’t cooling the house properly (and the temps were in the 90s). The owner had the air conditioning come out three different times (and they were AWESOME!!! They explained what was going on and because of the time they were there…they were extremely quiet and worked til it was fixed). Because of this issue…the owner credited my account a portion of my stay for the inconvenience. We have had this occur at other houses and I have NEVER been considered the way they considered us. We are looking at staying here for two weeks next year. It was such a great experience.

Everything you need is in the house. Short walk for an early walk to the beach. Beach chairs were like new. New grill, and cooking accessories. Great place to relax an enjoy your trip.

We had our extended family of 10 for spring break vacation. Something for everyone! Grandma loved the short walk to the heated pool while the pre-teens enjoyed biking in the neighborhood. Young adults could hop in the golf cart and head to the beach or the village to grab a drink and some pizza.
The host was very responsive and the home was lovely. Everything as described. Great use of space in the house.

There aren’t enough words to express how pleased my family and I were with our stay. The neighborhood was perfect, the amenities (family-friendly pool, basketball and tennis/pickleball courts) were fabulous, the private Carillon beach was a short 5-minute walk away with chairs and umbrella provided, and the other different 30A beaches were within a short drive…seriously all perfect. And, the home was a great fit for my two adult children, DIL, and two young grandchildren. It was well-stocked, the bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfortable, and the kitchen provided a great space for everyone to help prepare meals. Our host also could not have been better…he was extremely responsive with questions and just awesome. My family and I plan on making this an annual get-away and can’t wait to plan our next stay. Thank you for everything!

Beautiful home with a true “beach” decor but without any of the usual tackiness. Fully stocked kitchen and bath essentials with plenty of towels, shampoos, conditioners, etc.
Big “smart” TVs in the living area and bedrooms. Comfortable and relaxing porches fronting the beautiful walking pathways that are lit with mini-lights for easy navigation at night. Plenty of items (bikes, paddle boards, beach toys) for use and with an available air compressor for airing bike tires, if needed.
A nice easy stroll to the beach walkover and a totally uncrowded beach, especially during Labor Day weekend. The house comes with 2 beach recliners and a large umbrella already set up for use, with more recliners, chairs and umbrellas available from the beach attendant located at the dunes crossover. Couldn’t ask for a more relaxing home and enjoyable beach. This marked our 30th visit to the Sunnyside and 30A area and we plan to return to the area (hopefully more stays in Carillon) in the future.

Everything was great! Beautiful home and very clean. A few minor things needed attention, Owner was responsive and polite when needed.

All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at “A Shore Thing”. We were two families with 3 teens and 2 pre-teens. The house is beautiful, styled well and includes many wonderful amenities. The beach chair service was a treat, and the community pools were amazing! The blue water was so clear, we felt we were in the Caribbean.
The only issue we ran into is the questionable cleaning provided by those that turnover the house between guests. My bed had lots of sand in the sheets making me question if they had even been laundered. There was a shower with lots of mold in the grout and on the floor tiles which we cleaned prior to use. One single bed had something spilled on the sheet and leaked onto the mattress pad. Each of the issues we were able to resolve easily on our own so never reached out to complain. A few loads of laundry and a little cleaner with bleach left us feeling more comfortable in the house.
All in all, our visit was wonderful.

Our family had a great time. Grandchildren loved the outdoor shower and bunk room! Kitchen nice and spacious. Only think missed was a bath tub for the baby. We had a great week!

This property was everything we hoped it would be. Fantastic layout that made the home feel much bigger than what the square footage is actually listed at. The area couldn't have been better and the beach was immaculate. We can't wait to book this area and home again!

Amazing property loved everything about this house very spacious and all the information on here was accurate! Great communication all the way till we arrived only thing is the beach is not as clean as we thought and we couldn’t use the grill because the previous guest left it very dirty Shane on them, but other than that we enjoyed staying in this property ❤️❤️❤️

Our family could not have been more pleased with our stay. We had a variety of ages from 5-16 and everyone including the adults loved the home and location. We love visiting the community but loved this house more than some we have stayed at in the past! It had everything we needed to feel at home and plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax.
Check in was easy and the location was perfect for walking to the pool or beach. The kids loved catching geckos in the space in front of the house as we cooked meals.
