We loved the home, views, hot tub, outdoor seating areas, beach access, along with the proximity to Yachats and Newport! Highly recommend staying at Tranquility Rocks if you’re wanting to explore this portion of the Oregon Coast.

This place is so charming and beautiful! We loved staying here. Getting down to the beach can be hard if you’re not in good shape, however we had no issues! Definitely check out the beach when the tide is low what a treat.

Where do I start? The location, the views, the garden, the beach - it was all just spectacular. Perhaps what I loved most about this house was the number and variety of places where you can just sit peacefully and drink in the absolutely breathtaking beauty. We are a family of five, and the space was just big enough for us, but it had everything we needed, and there has obviously been a lot of thought put into making guests comfortable here. I would definitely come back!

We loved this house! It was a lovely location, with a perfect view of the north side of Seal Rock. We enjoyed the hot tub, the campfire, and, of course, the beach access. Perfectly situated in between Newport and Waldport, and easy to reach and find. We come to the Oregon Coast every year and this has been my favorite rental yet. Thank you!

We really enjoyed the view. It was fantastic. We enjoyed the house and all, but we found the place pretty dusting and lots of cobwebs up in the sky light. For the amount we pay for the cleaning fee I was expecting the place to at least be dusted. Looks like the top of things were dusted, but if it had lower shelves they had many layers of dust.

The location with beach access and amazing outdoor spaces made for a great stay. The steps are steep to get to the beach, but worth it to see the tide pools and seals swimming. Views from the home are incredible. There was an ant problem while we were there and we also encountered a lot of pet hair. Aside from those issues, the location was great to walk over to the coffee shop and we enjoyed a few meals at Luna’s Sea House.

This property has such a stunning view! The master bedroom has a window nearly the size of the entire back wall with a stunning look over the landscaped yard at the ocean. The kitchen is well appointed and the home has lots of comfortable seating and space to unwind and enjoy your stay at the coast. We will certainly be back.

Great location overlooking beach. We had an amazing time with friends for Thanksgiving. 6 people and two dogs and we didn’t feel cramped. The bathroom could use a facelift, otherwise we had a blast. Folks were asking about completing handrail down to the beach. It gets pretty steep and slippery. When you burn those logs in the fireplace, the people in the back by the bathroom can smell smoke, so we didn’t burn any on the tail end of trip. Two of the six people recently lost our mothers and this trip was just what we needed! Thank you so much for sharing your home

We loved our stay at the house. We celebrated my in-laws 50th anniversary and the house was perfect. The views were amazing. The hot tub was perfect. And the house was ideal. We had 6 adults and the house was plenty of space; especially since we spent most of our time outside!

Gorgeous View
The property is beautiful and well equipped (including marshmallow skewers and some things to play with at the beach). Had a slight hiccup with the assigned door code not working but the property manager responded quickly and gave us a new code that worked. The tide pools and rocks on the beach behind the property were spectacular full of sea stars, crabs, and anemones. Great stay!

Great family house on the beach.
We enjoyed all of the nearby amenities. The house was large enough for our family of 5 and a dog. The game room was so much fun. Amazing view as well. Only downside, the grill fell jnto pieces when we tried to move it! Yikes!

If it weren't for the gorgeous beach, we would have never left the cozy house!
It was an absolutely perfect setting to celebrate an all-girls birthday weekend. We lucked out with the sunny weather in January. House was super close to 101, but waves drowned out any possible traffic noise. Perfectly quiet at night. House was clean, and had everything we could have wanted amenities-wise. Can't wait to return!

Serenity in Seal Rock
Tranquility Rocks is the perfect name for this gorgeous beachfront home in Seal Rock, Oregon. We visited as two couples, two young children and a dog, and the house was the perfect size for us. We most enjoyed the backyard, where there were so many sitting areas to take in the view. Not to mention, the picture windows from the bedroom, living room and dining area. The location is perfect for exploring the Central Coast.
The only things to note for future visitors is that the home is situated on a cliff above the beach. You have to walk down steep, sketchy stairs to the ocean, and there's a sheer drop from most sitting areas, so keep an eye on kids and pets!

Beautiful and Relaxing
This home has an amazing view. It doesn't have high end finishes, but it has everything you need to have a fabulous family vacation. They have thought of every detail to make your stay great. The fire pit was awesome in the evenings, and sunning on the deck during the day. We loved the fire log in the living room as well and the view from the hot tub. Our family used the path down to the beach which was a fun adventure. You can walk next door for coffee, or drive in to Waldport for a bite and crabbing. There was an issue with the sink in the kitchen not working, but Sweet Homes Vacation Rental was great and kept us in the loop and provided what they could until it could be fixed. Our family hopes to return one day!

Great Time at Tranquility Rocks
We had a great time and really enjoyed the property. Great views and love the landscaping. This was our second visit to this house and plan to return.
Only issues were the electrical issue in the master bedroom but property manager got it handled quickly. Other two issues were the silverware drawer kept dropping and garbage disposal wasn’t working.

Amazing views!
This property was very comfortable for a week long stay for two. The kitchen had everything we needed and bed was comfortable. Also enjoyed the hot tub, ping pong and board games. Beach access was treacherous and we mostly drove to beaches that were easier to get to. Close to Newport for great seafood. We had our dog with us and the yard isn't fenced so kept him on a leash, also house is on Coast highway so no place for dog walks.

Family celebration
The home was perfect for our small family celebration. The home was safe for the youngest, a toddler. The tired parents loved the hot tub soaks. We prepared several feasts in the well-equipped kitchen. The view of the beach was incredible and the fire pit was a wonderful way to enjoy it. We played games every night around the table in the living room. This was the perfect location and home to celebrate beating cancer and reflecting the survival of loss by suicide. Thank you.

We had a nice, relaxing stay. The ocean provided a wonderful constant white noise. Tried to get down to the beach in front of the house but the stairs were washed out and to dangerous to use. Plenty of other beaches around to visit!

Breathtaking location right on the beach!
The best part of this house was the location on the beach. The outdoor garden is so beautiful that you will want to spend all of your time outdoors on the deck or in one of the many outdoor “nooks.” Fully stocked kitchen and wonderful main bedroom with a fantastic view.
