A true North Shore experience! This apartment was PERFECT for our 1 week stay on the island. It came equipped with towels, full stocked kitchen, and a cooler we used all week. With the private beach being only 1 min away we got to enjoy sunsets. Parking was great and this was super close to major attractions on the north of the island. I 100% recommend staying here for a ground of 4-5 people.

The location of this condo was Supreme! We always stay on the North Shore and I am so happy we picked this place. The pictures depict the condo to a T! It had everything we needed, nothing more, nothing less, perfect for our group! There are beach chairs, boogey board and small cooler for beach use. There is coin operated laundry which I didn't see on the listing, so that was a bonus amenity. Kitchen is small but functional (pans need upgrade) we only cook breakfast at the rental and eat out the rest of the day and this kitchen was just right for our needs. The living space was spacious for our group of 4 to hang out but we found ourselves making use of the lanai more than anything. The complex is quiet and does have quiet hours from 10pm to 8am, so all night long all you hear is the tranquil sound of the waves! It wasn't until the last day when I was checking under the beds to make sure we got everything that I found the tote of hygiene/sun products, no big deal. We had a little hiccup with the parking pass and both Lucille and the property manager (Janet) were very responsive and took care of it right away. If you are seeking a quiet home to relax and unwind, this is the place. We loved being able to see the waves from the lanai and we are already considering renting again next year.

This condo was perfect for us! It’s spacious and the location was great. Beautiful ocean view from the large lanai and a great beach just steps away. The condo is well equipped and has lots of extras. Lucille is easy to reach and quick to respond. Would certainly stay here again.

Haleiwa Surf is our favorite spot to stay on OAHU. The condo was just as described. It truly felt like home. She’s got all the kitchen things you need, Beach toys/towels/chairs. Beds were all cozy. No complaints!! Will be back again :) ***if you want to go sport fishing and be able to take fish back home with you, look up Captain Freed on The Pamela Pearl right in the Haleiwa Harbor!!

Enjoyed staying here so much. Quiet, wonderful balcony with the view we dream of. Condo had everything we needed with a fully stocked kitchen. So appreciated that, even beach towels!

Great little property!

Very beautiful location to enjoy family. Property is well maintained and perfect location. Look forward to many more stays. Central to many amenities and local flavor.

We just spent a week at this rental, and we loved it. First, the apartment is spacious and comfortable. You can open all sorts of windows for cross-breezes, and there is a tower fan in each room. And there is a long balcony with plenty of room that has a beautiful view of the grounds and the ocean! Speaking of the ocean, it is literally steps away. In the morning, a large part of the beach has shade from a huge tree, which is great for those of us who love the beach but can’t take too much sun. Of course, the afternoon has full sun for people who prefer that option. And the water itself is shallow and beautiful. The waves at the shore are pretty even, but people can surf further out. We even snorkeled here and saw a few things! This place is close to Hale’iwa’s Main Street, where there is a variety of delicious foods. The town itself is very cute. We loved being so close to it. And the North Shore’s other attractions are minutes away. We would definitely come back and stay here!!

To start I want to emphasize that the north shore location and property the Condo is on was amazing. It was beautifully gardened and had great views. The host was friendly and communicated wonderfully. The condo itself felt run down. As a mom of three boys I felt the property was not kid friendly. We avoided being at the condo because we were worried about noise and breaking the numerous rules the property had.

The property was true to the listing and actually, we found it to be much more. The location was superb and the private lagoon in front was terrific for snorkeling/swimming. The neighborhood felt safe, the people were friendly, and the owner and property manager were great to deal with- everything went smoothly except the weather, but we still made it work. We would definitely rent again.

We did enjoy our stay in Lucille`s flat a lot. The place and location is perfect, we loved it. Thank you so much!

Great location right next to the beach and a short walk to town for food and shopping. The only downside was the nearby rooster(s) crowing starting at 3:30am!

This was an amazing property right off the beach with good balcony views of the ocean. There are no window units in this property so you need to rely on the fans that are provided to keep cool at night. We really enjoyed our stay at this location

We came to visit Oahu after living here a few years ago but wanted something with a slower pace than Waikiki; and we were not disappointed! We stayed in the two bedroom condo with a full kitchen and two bathrooms. It is important to note that the owners provide dishes, cookware, bath towels and wash clothes, etc along with beach towels and basic beach gear (sand toys, boogie boards, small beach umbrella) Haleiwa is within walking distance (about a mile), the landscaping here is immaculate, the laundry facilities are clean and was never crowded, the ocean and semi-private beach is literally outside our window, and the staff and owners on site are incredibly friendly, responsive, and communicative. Lastly, the owners made it incredibly easy to check out with a no fuss check out process. If I had to make one comment, it is to be specific that that the condo is not not air conditioned (even though it comes with ample fans and the trade winds provide incredible air circulation). We lived here so we understand what tropical air conditioning is, others may not. Mahalo for an incredible stay!

Good: The property was easy to find and steps from the beach. The photos accurately capture the space. The condo was well-stocked with towels of all kinds. The artwork was nice. We appreciated the many fans to keep the place cool. The lanai was spacious, with two large round tables. Lucille responded quickly to my texts. Not so good: The bed in the front bedroom was extremely soft. The two single beds were firmer, but the noise from the birds, traffic, and big trucks leaving the parking lot every morning made for some rough mornings. Be sure to bring earplugs. We had a lovely time overall. You can't beat the location.

This was a great experience. The unit has fantastic view and we enjoyed swimming in the ocean at the complex.

We had a relaxing stay at Haleiwa Surf and enjoyed our family time. Best part was grilling out at the Oceanside. Loved it. Would come again and hopefully this year. Thank you for sharing this piece of paradise with us.

Staying up on the North side of the island was lovely. I would recommend to anyone staying here. The place basically has it's own private beach, as there was no one on the beach hardly at all, not sure because of time of year or if it is always like that, but it was so nice to walk 50 steps to your own beach. My brother and I spent Christmas together here and it was the perfect little getaway. The residence is nice and private and perfect with two bathrooms and bedrooms. It was nice to have a kitchen as well to be able to cook breakfast or dinners if we were staying in. We also used the BBQ outside and had a picnic which was nice to enjoy the outdoors. If you are looking for a relaxing quiet stay this is your place. Even when we had a problem staff was quick to respond and help with any issues. Thank you again for the fun holiday stay, I will always remember this Christmas! PS. snorkeled Christmas day and saw a turtle so it was perfect

Everything was super smooth - Lucille was lovely and so easy to communicate with and the location is unbeatable. The actual unit hadn’t been cleaned very well when we arrived but I have some OCD with cleanliness so who knows :)

We were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the appartment was. Very clean. It had a large lanai with a view of the palm trees and ocean. We had access to boogie boards and beach chairs and beach towels. We would rent this appartment again. Thank you Lucille.

Depends what you are looking for. We spent little time at the condo so we wanted it to be North Shore central, close the downtown Haleiwa and points south, east or west. Great location on the north shore.

This was the perfect location for a great stay in Haliewa. Two minute walk to the beach giving way to beautiful early morning and late evening walks. Our appartment was bright and airy and the balcony was just right for a glass of wine while watching the sunset. I would highly recommend this property.

Our third visit to Haleiwa and Haleiwa Surf condo. Lucille's communication is great and her condo is great with pretty much everything you need. Easy walk into Haleiwa town, great reef protected beach, well kept grounds and laid back atmosphere. The only thing that keeps us from giving five stars is the condo is starting to show it's age and could use some sprucing up and the lani furniture could be more comfortable. However, that will not keep us from coming back and if Lucille's place is available we will rent it again.

We had an amazing stay at Lucille's place. Very clean, spacious and the location was perfect for us. Sitting out on the lanai every morning and evening was wonderful. The view of the ocean was idyllic and it was exactly what we were looking for. There was a problem with the waste disposal but Jonathan (her maintenance man) fixed that up very quickly and it was no bother at all. Lucille's beautifully appointed condo makes the perfect Hawaiian get-a-way. It is clean, comfortable and it has everything you would need for a great stay. The building is quiet and clean, with the hardest working groundskeeper who keeps the property pristine. We love the proximity to Haleiwa Town (15 minute stroll) and the beautiful beach steps away from the condo. It is our slice of heaven.

Great place to stay on the North Shore.

This property was a little out dated, but clean. The closets were full of various items, however you were able to hang your clothes. Loved the fact that beach chairs were available for use and the beach area was private to the condominium tenants.

Lucille was very professional and helpful with directions and information on who to contact if there was a problem. One issue we had was there was no where to hang wet towels and trunks and the building manager would not let us hang them on the lanai rail (?). We were told there were hooks on the lanai but we only found two tiny hooks for hanging pictures...The other issue we had was the kitchen was dirty. The cutting boards had gunk in the handle areas, the surfaces looked like they had not been properly cleaned in a long time. The knife rack on the wall had food caked into the top of it. Probably a cleaning service issue as the owner is absentee. But other than the kitchen being funky the apartment was easy to live in, close to town and surf spots and had two bathrooms (clean!) which is a luxury when travelling. Very affordable. Overall 3.5 out of 5 stars. We would stay there again. Thanks Lucille!
