Karen was responsive and accomodating. Cottage in the heart of downtown Northport. Perfect location to walk to everything. Not fancy, but immaculate, quiet, and with nice accoutrements. Bed very comfortable with cotton sheets— not microfiber (yuck). We will return

Our host was really wonderful! She was very communicative both before and during our stay. She gave us some great recommendations for local hiking and the best places to watch sunsets, sunrises and to view the stars.

The rental was spotless, private, and within immediate walking distance of absolutely everything in Northport, including a grocery store, cafes, and restaurants. We appreciated the thoughtful welcome gifts of water, snacks, etc. The host did a great job providing everything you might need without any unnecessary clutter. What a gem!

Very nice and comfortable place to stay. The extra touches (snacks, soaps, shampoo, etc.) were appreciated. Also appreciated possible early check-in and delayed check-out time. Missed having a TV especially in the morning. It's a bit of a walk from the street to the apartment but not unexpected, and path was well-lit. Owner was very helpful and offered information on activities and businesses in town and the area. I would happily stay here again.

Karen was a great host! We enjoyed being able to walk to all of the local stores, coffee shop, and restaurants. The Traverse City Lighthouse and Fishtown are only 15 minutes away. Lots of great hiking trails with 15 minutes as well. The VRBO is a large studio unit. As advertised, there is no TV or stove. We would definitely recommend if these are not necessities for you!

Perfect spot for those that don’t enjoy large crowds! Quiet and cute little neighborhood and still plenty to do on a cold windy rainy weekend. Lots of wine tasting! Only thing we would have enjoyed more was a TV to watch the U of M game! The pub closes at 9 in the fall! Other than that it was perfect. Clean and Karen was very attentive! We would love to come back some day!

Karen was a very gracious host. We enjoyed our stay and the studio was clean and spacious. Snacks, water and coffee were provided and were appreciated. We have already recommended her place.

CLEAN. Provided all you need (beach towels, folding chairs cooler and snacks) only thing missing was a tv. Great communication. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Our stay was awesome! Karen made everything so easy from check-in to providing welcome snacks and even a copy of the children's book she has authored!! The place was simple, very clean, and spacious. The VRBO is in a perfect location in Northport for walking to the quaint and idyllic town restaurants and shops. If you don't need anything fancy this is a great place to stay, Quiet and just perfect. We would stay here again.

Karen's place is exactly as advertised..although even a little better due to all of the nice touches that she leaves for you. The studio was spacious and absolutely spotless. She had left treats for our arrival and beach towels, beach chairs and a foam cooler which made beach going much easier! You can literally walk to every single thing in Northport from the house. It has everything you need for a couple to stay and enjoy Northport. We would definitely return. Highly recommend.

Quaint, quiet getaway for two located in the heart of Northport. Walking distance to great restaurants and a local brewery as well as the beach and marina. A short drive to area wineries and other attractions. Studio was clean and comfortable, would definitely stay again.

This is the BEST location in the BEST village in Leelanua County.

Clean, cute space. Just no cooking there unless you use a microwave. We ate out at great places in town so not a hassle for us. 1 block walk to the beach!

Although we only stayed for a short weekend, it didn’t take long to see that this is a perfect little getaway spot. Not only was the property beautiful and the rental super clean, but you really are within walking distance to anything you might need during your stay. Cherry on top was meeting the owners’ dog, Lily - so adorable! Would stay here again!

The property was super clean, the host was friendly and it is in the perfect location if you like being in town. We are active types of people, and like being in a town to walk around and then be able to drive to an excursion and this was a great spot as a homebase. We drove to Leland one day and took the ferry to South Manitou Island to do a long hike. The next day we drove to the Platte River and tubed the river and did pyramid point hike on the way. Perfect quick getaway spot!

Very clean and cozy location within walking distance of waterfront, a brewery, a market, charming shops, and several good restaurants. Karen was an ideal host with great communication and flexible checking in and out. The snacks were a great surprise. Would gladly stay again.

What a perfect stay in Northport! The location couldn’t have been better. Check-in/out process was a breeze and there were even some snacks waiting for us upon arrival! Big thank you for your kindness and communication during our stay!

Perfect apartment for my husband and me! It was exactly as we hoped for, and more! Karen's hospitality and thoughtfulness were that "more", and we appreciate it very much. We spent 3 nights in Northport, most of the days biking, hiking, and exploring the area. But in the evening, we had everything we needed in the apartment to relax and get a good rest. Apartment was super clean, everything in it was working smoothly. Apartment is tucked in behind the house - at a great location, short walking distance from the restaurants, cafes, park, marina, beach. Summers in Northern Michigan are magical, with warm days, pretty beaches, refreshing Lake Michigan waters, great biking and hiking trails, farms, orchards, vineyards, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and above everything - great people! Northport's Friday farmers market was great, as well as music in the park in the evening (picnic chairs provided in our apartment were put to good use). Even beach towels were provided...in case you forgot yours. Overall - great place to stay! We enjoyed every minute of our vacation.

Property was well maintained in the downtown area. It was a short walk to the beach. The village life was enjoyable.
Venues such as Sleeping Dunes were within an easy driving distance. Enjoyed our stay!

Happy Days in the Heart of Northport
We have been visiting the village of Northport for about 15 years. This year was made extra special by staying in this studio in the center of the village. We enjoyed being within walking distance of the shops, galleries and restaurants. Even though we were in the center of everything, it seemed very quiet and private, located behind the hosts personal residence with a glimpse of the bay. Karen was a wonderful host. We appreciated the extra snacks, little boxes of cereal and chocolates that were provided. The studio was very clean and Karan checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We will stay again in the future.

Excellent Location!
This place is right in the middle of NorthPort and an easy walk to everywhere! It was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and Karen was a thoughtful and attentive host! I loved my stay and hope to be back again soon!
