Charming 1950’s private home in the heart of Houston with a lot of character
¡Bienvenido a casa! Hemos tratado de pensar en todo. Electrodomésticos nuevos de estilo retro y una cocina totalmente equipada. El salón ofrece una cómoda área de asientos seccionales y acogedoras para que disfruten familiares y amigos. Hay un escritorio con enchufes adicionales y puertos USB para su convencimiento. El dormitorio principal ofrece una cama queen ... el segundo dormitorio ofrece dos gemelos ... el tercer dormitorio ofrece una queen ... y la cuarta área de descanso es un sofá cama de tamaño completo. Hay dos baños completos. Ambos baños tienen toallas blancas mullidas, paños negros para quitar el maquillaje y toallas de mano para secar. Primero se encuentra en el dormitorio principal con ducha. En segundo lugar se encuentra en el pasillo con bañera / ducha. Nos gusta dejar artículos de tocador orgánicos locales para que pruebes. Tenemos tres televisores inteligentes para su disfrute ubicados en la sala de estar, el dormitorio principal y la sala de juegos / cuarto dormitorio. Todos los televisores se pueden conectar a su estación de transmisión favorita y, por supuesto, Wi-Fi complementario. Tenemos un camino de entrada para dos autos y estacionamiento gratuito en la calle justo en frente de la casa. Everything was nice about the property. Definitely didn’t feel like we were too far away from home. Neighborhood was quiet. The owners were very sweet and friendly.

I enjoyed my two week stay in this quaint 1950’s style bungalow. The home was clean, well-kept and nicely appointed. From comfy beds to lovely wood floors and a spacious backyard, it was the perfect spot for a restful get-away. Fun restaurants just a few blocks away was a nice added bonus.

The cozy upgraded 50’s home was perfect for our visit in Houston with my family . The owner was thoughtful to send us a box of welcome cookies.
There was a game room for the kids and adults we had fun playing and just spending time there.
You have to be careful when you step out from the house because there is a big step.
The issue that we had while we stayed at the house was it had a lot of flying insects when you open the door they try to sneak in.
The house was fully furnished except there are no cushions to the outdoor chairs. You have to be careful when you sit your butt might fall between the slats of the chair. The towels that were rolled that was in the basket in the bathroom had stains over all the house was great.

Great place and convenient location. We felt very at home. Within an hour of our arrival we received warm cookies and milk from our hosts.

We enjoyed our stay in Houston and appreciated this clean and nicely furnished home. Some neighborhood dogs were barking in the wee hours for a long while and a bit of a yelling between neighbors woke up some of us but besides that our stay was nice.

The house is about as cute and comfortable as it gets! Beds are very comfy! Great backyard for the dogs! Hot cookies and milk delivered to us!! Need I say more?!!

This was one of the cutest homes! Please don't let the surrounding neighborhoods mislead you. Once you are off the main roads and driving down the street it's so peaceful. The home is located between two major highways and offers easy access to restaurants, shopping, bowling, movie theaters and so much more. Don't forget to try one of the local food trucks. This home is perfect for all ages. The adults and teens appreciated the two separate living areas. The teens played games and watched tv in the back living area while the adults talked privately in the main living area. The beds were very comfortable! We all slept well. The snacks and drinks were a hit, but nothing beat our night time surprise. 😋 We hope to book again the next time we are visiting!

The Branch House is a welcoming, comfortable, quiet place to stay while doing business in the area. Comfortable bed, good wi-fi connection. I will be back often.

My family & I stayed at this house to attend a wedding in downtown Houston. The location was great for anything in the downtown area. The area surrounding the neighborhood is a little intimidating if you aren't comfortable in downtown/major city areas (and what some pockets of that entail), but we felt safe in the home.
Communication with the owner was very fast. We asked to check in early and the owner was quick to reply. We needed help locating the pack-n-play for our infant and the owner called right away to help us locate it.
Our three kids loved the house, with all its compartmentalized rooms (classic 1950s home). There was a "game room" with books and board games for them to enjoy, too.
I can't think of any amenities missing at this location! We appreciated the abundance of linens, towels, kitchen supplies, etc.

Perfect location for our needs and the perfect home to stay in! Beds and linens were excellent, tons of towels, comfortable living area, bathrooms super clean (no door on the master bathroom). We didn’t cook, but from looking for basics (cutting board, eg) it looks like the kitchen is stocked with the very basics. Communication and hospitality were top notch. We would definitely stay here again!

I rented this home because my son was getting engaged. The home was conveniently located for where we needed to go and the hosts were very accommodating. I would rent this property again when visiting Houston.

This place is a true gem. I was curious how they got a 9.8 rating when I read the reviews prior to my stay. However once I got there it all became clear! The hosts are amazing! The place is so cute. The beds so comfy. The delivered fresh milk and cookies soooo tasty. The game room offered hours of fun. The backyard for the kids to play. They left us coffee and treats and stocked the fridge with drinks and basics. They went above and beyond to make this stay perfect. The neighborhood isn't so great for walking around so would only stay here with a car but otherwise this place is perfect. We had an amazing time! Definitely stay here! They go above and beyond to take care of you!

My daughter lives in Houston but her house wasn’t big enough to accommodate us. So, we sought someplace that would feel like home to celebrate the holidays. This was our first one after losing a key part of our family this year so was doing something we had never done and wanted to be comfortable and private and relaxed. We had two people fly in from different states, 3 that drove and the others lived nearby and visited and accessing the house from all points was very convenient and easy. The house is decorated nicely, is roomy and flows easily, beds were comfy, things needed were ample (except in the kitchen - more kitchen tools and cooking items would have been nice but most people may not even need them like we did), and we felt safe. If you are planning to cook a lot, keep in mind the frig is not standard size and has a very minimal freezer space- only big enough for a bag of ice. The water pressure in the shower was extremely low so we did baths a lot. There were snacks and drinks when we arrived and cute little Xmas cupcakes. The hosts were immediately responsive to a couple small needs/issues we had. Shopping and restaurants are all very close by. This was a wonderful experience and was perfect for our needs! Thank you!

Our family lives very close by this charming house. We traveled with young children. It was a great house, very clean and comfy! It was also a great place to escape from family when needed! 😂❤️ will definitely stay here again!

Tara and Teta's place was great for me, my wife, and our two boys (6 & 3). Lots of space and things to do like a foosball table and board games.
The house is well stocked with everyday supplies. Beds are super comfortable. Check in/out was really simple.
There were a couple of small maintenance type things that are easy and cheap fixes, like two light bulbs that were out and a bathroom faucet handle that falls off because it's missing a screw.
The biggest negative is that the en suite bathroom doesn't have a door. There are even hinges where the door should be, but no door. You've got to put a door on there!
Also parts of the neighborhood are a little rough around the edges but it's quiet and everything was perfectly fine.
I'd recommend this place for sure especially if they fix some of the little things.

Really enjoyed sitting in the backyard drinking coffee in the morning or listening to the cicadas in the evening. Big trees, lots of shade, and a fair share of wildlife in the middle of the city. Our dogs loved the fenced in backyard. And the kids spent hours and hours in the game room. In short, loved it!

Had a great time over the weekend. Lots of things and places to go nearby and downtown was an easy drive. Great hosts who were just a message away if we needed anything. Cookies to welcome us were a nice touch after a travel day.

A very comfortable stay
This was my first time in Houston. We considered hotels as well but this was a more affordable alternative to a hotel. This place is as advertised. It is warm and welcoming and extremely comfortable and clean. The neighborhood is quiet as well. We enjoyed it very much and would certainly come back again.

A huge thanks to Tera and Teta who were very responsive to our communications and were able to get the house ready in time for an early check-in. The house is a quaint 1950's era home situated in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from freeway access. The house was spotless with all amenities needed to ensure a stress free and enjoyable stay. The game room, comfortable beds, wifi, bathroom supplies and a fully stocked kitchen made for a perfect stay for our family of 5 adults.
These hosts went above and beyond to ensure we were staying in a "home", not a rental. They even had a box of a dozen cookies and individual servings of milk waiting for us when we arrived (along with a few other snacks/beverages).
We would definitely stay here again or in another home managed by Tera and Teta. Highly recommend this listing to anyone looking to enjoy Houston for a business trip or family vacation.

My family and I were waiting on closing of our new home and we stayed here. It was a very pleasant stay and the hosts were great. This was our first experience doing anything like this and I don’t regret it and I would do it again if I had to.

Our bridesmaids stayed at this house. It was lovely, they were all very happy. The house was clean and comfortable. Tara and Tata even left free-range chicken eggs from their own chickens in the fridge for us. Very wonderful experience. Thank you!

I loved everything about this property. It is much larger than I expected, it is beautifully decorated, has comfortable beds and linens and is immaculately clean. We were in Houston for a wedding and were easily able to get to both the church and the wedding venue in under 15 minutes. There is a really nice coffee shop a 1/2 mile away: SlowPokes. Outstanding coffee and breakfast. I think it’s a neighborhood bar at night. My husband and I will DEFINITELY be back.
