A solo 10 minutos de Phillip Island, el encantador pueblo de Kilcunda tiene una hermosa costa con acantilados y senderos para bicicletas. Con diversas playas, desde bahías tranquilas hasta mar abierto y surf. Haga una barbacoa con amigos o familiares en nuestra espaciosa casa moderna con un gran balcón con vista al mar, así como colinas y vegetación. Esta casa grande es perfecta para dos familias, con zonas de entretenimiento privadas arriba y abajo (que incluyen una sala de juegos y un segundo comedor). La playa y las rutas de senderismo y ciclismo están a un paseo de distancia (300 metros). O simplemente disfruta del piso de arriba para un fin de semana romántico mirando las estrellas desde el balcón y escuchando las olas del surf. Recoja el periódico en el conocido café gourmet de Killy y en la tienda de comestibles, y visite el pub, ambos también a corta distancia de nuestra casa de gran corazón.

We stayed in December for our annual Family trip. Maggie was wonderful and a great help. Plenty of room for a giant teenager and three adults. I loved the upstairs and downstairs it was a great all that we needed. One of my fav parts was sitting on the balcony at night watching the sunsets. Thanks for a great trip made easy. And playing board games at night.

6 mature age motorcyclists down from Queensland. We loved the size of the house and of course the laundry with 2 clothes driers. The big kitchen dining and lounge room was put to good use. The kitchen was very well equipped especially for our group size.

Maggie was first of all amazing, she is one of the best hosts I have come across. She was a fast replier and gave us every detail we needed. The house is nice and big for a big group of people and had everything we needed, what a great stay and great location. So close to the shops and beach, we would definitely stay again! Great value for money!

This is not the first time we have stayed at the "Big House". We always find it as described with plenty of space and ammenities for our group. The communication with the owner is always prompt and very helpful to accomodate us. Location is terrific with a morning walk along the beach always a great start to the day, or an afternoon swim. We would definetly stay again.

Lovely big house for families, great location
We had a brilliant week staying at Kilcunda. Maggie is a very thoughtful, flexible and generous host. The house is perfect for two families, lots of rooms and space. We especially enjoyed sitting outside on the big balcony, enjoying the fresh air and the views. The house is in a great location - across the road from the rail trail and George Bass coastal walk, and a 5 min stroll to the General Store and pub. Highly recommend and I hope we will be back.

Very enjoyable house for our whole family
My family and I (7 of us) were very pleased with all aspects of the property including up-to-date appliances that all worked well, balcony BBQ was great, WIFI and Netflix worked well, as well as minor things we were surprised to have available including board games and body boards. The owners had obviously put effort into making our seven day stay as enjoyable as possible. Thanks.

Great Base
This was a great base for our family holiday. The separate wings gave everyone the space they needed. Close to Kilcunda store/pub with great coffee and food.

Lovely relaxing stay
Overall we were really happy, the property is nice and private with a view of the ocean from the living room, everything that you might need for the kitchen, bedrooms etc was supplied. Maggie was very communicative and helpful.
The upstairs shower could do with a good scrub!

Excellent house for our cycling group
This large house was perfect for our group of cyclists with the many bedrooms and had great views from the lovely open plan area upstairs. Great balconies to enjoy. The only down side and an easy fix was that there was no TV reception on the large TV in the main living area. Besides this we loved our stay here and it was perfect for accessing the rail trail, the George Bass coastal walk and Phillip Island.

LOVE BIG HEART HOUSE
Extremely spacious and very clean. Great balcony with views of the ocean, paddocks by day and a great spot to look up at the stars at night. Comfy beds, great showers and excellent internet connection. My friend and I loved our stay at Big Heart House Kilcunda. We booked for 4nights but ended up staying 6. Already planning a second visit for 2020, Can’t wait!!!!👏�🏻�

My new Home away from Home
A friend and I stayed here and absolutely loved the property. We spent a lot of time on the balcony during the day which had amazing views of the paddocks and ocean. At night all the big bright stars. The house was very clean, large bedrooms and a excellent wifi connection. Already discussing on booking again... Best Holiday ever!!!!!!!

Beautiful views, spacious, comfortable home.
A short walk to the community centre where I undertook a course for 2 weeks, this welcoming home was the perfect location for me to come home every night to chill out!
I really did not require such an enormous space as I was solitary and only utilised the upstairs section.
It would be wonderful in the Summer for large families!
Everything I needed was at hand and I was super comfortable.
The rail trail, beach and coastal walk all practically at the front door for easy access for my morning runs made my stay a delight.

Great location and views
The upstairs of this property is fabulous and could easily just use this space if two couples and a child. Wonderfully equipped, light and great balcony space with loads of outdoor furniture. The outdoor space is great for kids with lovely rural aspect.
Feel the downstairs best if have lots of people down there as is huge and labyrinthine so a bit unsettling if just a couple down there.
The owners were fabulous to deal with and even bought a high chair for us to use with our toddler which was such a help.
The number of books/games/DVD’s amazing.

Excellent property in wonderful location.
It felt like we were miles away although it was only just over an hour's drive from home. The property was very well appointed with plenty of bedding options and space for everyone.
Walking distance to the local stores which were open ALL Easter weekend which was very convenient. An excellent choice of both swimming beaches and rock pools galore to explore which was a hit with all our age groups - under one up to 16 years old!
The only suggestions we would have is that the upstairs dining area could benefit from a slightly larger bin and a portable stair gate would be nice for families with crawling babes.

Really nice view
We loved the house and the view! It has an excellent location too. We had two lovely weeks with our family at Kilcunda.
Our one big problem was that we had to endure extreme weather conditions (35°C +) with no air conditioning nor evaporative cooling to any of the rooms.
With only one split upstairs we had to endure 4 really hot nights with two babies under 2 made it almost impossible to get some sleep.

Great Family Holiday House.
We had a wonderful few days here. Lots of space and very relaxing. Great to be able to walk to the pub, general store and beach. Will be back in warmer weather.

Wonderful holiday house.
We loved the Big Heart house in Kilcunda. It was very spacious and had lovely views. There was plenty of space for our two families and the kids loved playing soccer on the grassy lawn. Thanks Maggie for being so helpful and for providing so many extras like the books, games and movies.
We loved staying in Kilcunda and being such a short walk from the café and a gorgeous beach. We look forward to coming to stay again.
