My family loved the vintage construction of the house, the numerous room, the double kitchens, the ability for the tweens to have a space. The view and beach access cannot be beat. The only down sides were the vehicle parking and minor cosmetic construction, i.e. the edge of the deck was coming off, and a door handle knob was inop. Small things.

The view from the living room was great, and it was lovely to be able to walk straight down to the beach anytime we wanted. We had a great stay overall. One thing to note if you are bringing younger kids and/or toddlers - one of the bedrooms can only be accessed through another bedroom...so think strategically!

The house is located in a beautiful location with private beach access.Furniture, beds, bathrooms and kitchen were good. House was not well maintained with chipped paint in some rooms. Outside very worn and not kept up. Stairs to beach had over grown vegetation making stairs hazardous. Kitchen had plenty of dishware but one lonely salt container and some vegetable prepared for an older house with multiple add ons making gor a strange configuration. The view and cleanliness make it worth recommending.

Our "Girls Beach Trip" was fabulous. We loved having direct access to the beach from the deck. Loved having a hot tub outside on the deck. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was small but stocked with essentials. Unfortunately the house itself was not very clean, hair on the shower floor, sand in the rug, only 1 roll of toilet paper in main bath for 6 women for 5 days! Upstairs bath had only 2 rolls. Stairs to beach had overgrown bushes covering part of the stairs, very dangerous when wet. The garbage left was very bad, had to call to have picked up. Grotto area when you first arrive was very dirty and with cobwebs everywhere, not great for first impressions. The weather was wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay. Just need to focus better on the cleaning and provide more t-p, especially for a group of women 🙃

I really enjoy my stay at the Shoreline Chateau. The fact that they do not allow any pets is the best!! Every house I had rented in the past had a terrible dog smell, and there were dog hairs everywhere. I loved having our own private beach access. All beds were pretty comfortable and the house was very clean. The views were priceless. We were there for 4 days and were very sad to leave. We really hope to get this house again for the next 4th of July Weekend. I highly recommend the Shoreline Chateau, you will not be disappointed!!

When booking our Lincoln City trip I spent a lot of time looking at the primary posted picture of this home. Could it really be this lovely? I had a big decision to make as this was one of two homes booked for a family reunion. We arrived and were immediately happy. The owner used the quirkiness of this home and did delightful things with it. The upstairs area with the views, the bedrooms, and even a little bonus kitchen was great. All beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and had plenty of towels. We did miss having shampoo and soap supplied. It whole house was clean and the kitchen well stocked with cooking, baking, and serving supplies. The most wonderful things ... the deck, the view, and the private stairway to the ocean. We were on that deck and up and down the stairs all day long for three days! The picture accurately told the story of what it was like to be at this vacation home.

We and the grandkids had a great time. Imagine us 76 and 81 year olds with the 21, 17, and 13 year olds. It was great! We "oldsters" flew a kite given to him by his Mom over 30 years ago! The house was perfect for the kids upstairs and us on the main level. TV for gaming for them upstairs and area for them to "hang" out when inside at night and plenty of sleeping area. And our TV and lounging area on the main level was perfect. Had planned on more to join as there was more room but others couldn't make it unfortunately! The view was fantastic and the hot tub a great hit...especially with us.

This house was just what we wanted, the feeling of being home while on vacation. The beds were the most comfortable we have ever slept on. Sitting in the hot tub while watching the waves can’t be beat. I would highly recommend to family or couples!

The house was in great condition and extremely clean! The views of the ocean and unbeatable, and the staircase that leads to the beach is really convenient. We really liked that the downstairs shower had a seat in it, and the kids loved the hot tub! I also liked that the upstairs had its own kitchenette, it was almost like an apartment in itself. The only issue was that its slightly scary parking on the steep driveway and backing out.

This home is a great get away for adults and families as there are many beds and the layout is great. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the waves and sunsets. Quiet area on the beach and close to a grocery store (Safeway). We definitely plan to stay there again in the future.

The house has a great view and in a great location. However, it wasn’t as cleaned as we like, the kitchen sink, refrigerator, and bathroom were a bit dirty. The stairs were extremely steep. The street parking was slanted and hard for my elderly disabled mother and sister who used a cane. They couldn’t go down to the beach. The furniture is a bit old but overall this is good for families with more physical ability.

Would be nice if it had a small covered patio for those who didnt want to hot tub to listen to the ocean...none of the windows opened from the ocean side in order to stay inside and hear the beauty of it.
The only downfall we could clearly see was the dining room had a large puddle of water upon arrival and the roof along window in dining room was also dripping...looks like it was an add on gone wrong. Mold is forming above front window in dining room from the leaks.
Leaving this in the review as I could not message the hose/management during our stay and i attempted to multiple times but app or wifi wasnt willing to work properly.

The location is great. Parking for a SUV or Pickup is lousy Garage is small not big enough for a SUV. Washer and dryer are both located in the garage so you have to leave the house to do Laundry. Kitchen is small. These are things that I am listing for people to understand before arriving. Good notes for this listing are location and access to the beach. Kitchen for pots,pans and so on was great. The upstairs has a master room that with little kids you have to go through the kids room to get to which for us was odd. Overall not sure we would stay again for the price but we did enjoy ourselves and I frequently go to the beach so take my review with a grain of salt just my opinion.

We had a great time here on a girls weekend. Can't beat the view and house had everything we needed. Took a minute to figure out the heat - fireplace really kicks out heat and extra individual portable room heaters did the trick and kept the house cozy. Would stay again for sure.

There was 6 of us visiting. This was the last trip my in-laws were/are able to have. Just not moving like they used to. The floor plan was good for us. They got their own room downstairs with bathroom and the rest of us upstairs. Mom was a little nervous about the few steps they needed to use to get into the house, as my father-in-law uses a walker and she a cane. Got it to work. Not a place for anyone in a wheelchair though. I wish spices where provided. At least salt and pepper. Wonder why it's not? I am thinking a girls weekend is needed and I would stay here again.
