The food was good, the room was clean and tidy, the minibar had a wide selection of drinks, the staff was very meticulous and the experience was good.

The private open-air swimming pool outside the room has a lot of sediment, it can be seen that it has not been fully cleaned for a long time, and the required cleaning is only to clean the fallen leaves on the water, resulting in us completely afraid to use the pool with the room, but the price of the room with the pool is much higher.

EVERYTHING! The setting, staff, food, room...I mean EVERYTHING was exceptional. This time my trip to Sri Lanka was quick and involved a lot of movement, but I am so thankful I ended my trip at Rate Wild Coast Tented Lodge. From the moment I entered, I felt like I was in a safari paradise. The staff, waiters, and GM were completely attentive and accommodating. While not the cheapest place I ever stayed, I think it was worth every penny. At first, I was disappointed I didn't have direct beach access as I had booked a pool room (and I thought those were only on the beach), but after settling in for an hour and catching a quick sunbathe I turned around to see a giant elephant on its way to my watering hole...they said it could happen...but I really thought the reality was slim to none...boy was I surprised! Besides all that, all the food and drinks were delicious! And, it cannot be omitted...the coastline! WOW! I have traveled the world and consider myself pretty versed in beautiful coastlines...and I have to say, this is one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL I have ever has the opportunity to sit and enjoy! The gigantic rocks, the angry sea, and the soft soft...even without at elephant visit I would have been so enthralled by Rate Wild Coast Tented Lodge. Thank you!!!

NOTHING! However, as a single traveler, the all-inclusive is more geared toward 2 people...I wish I could have eaten 2 teas, entrees, desserts, etc...But, I do think the hotel made up for this in other ways...they had no problem offering me a late check-out!

Top experience like you could experience from a Relais & Chateaux. Expensive, but worth the price. Superb villas, very nice amenities, beautiful location, super friendly staff, amazing safari guide, etc. !

The level of the National Park is below what you can see in Africa. But if you go with the correct expectations, you will love it ! The rangers from the hotel will make the experience very enjoyable !

What a spectacular hotel, nothing more than perfection in every aspect. The staff are very professional, knowledgeable, attentive, happy to help and genuine. The amenities are top notch and the rooms are out of this wold, attention to details in every way from the feeling in the room to the materials to the design are very well executed.
