Great location, parking space in underground garage with gates, grocery store near by and most inportant: 2 minutes from sandy beach. Wi-fi works perfectly.

Staff were very helpful and professional and spoke English, French, and of course Catalan and Spanish. The apartment block is very conveniently located near Lidl (great, you can walk instead of having a nervous breakdown trying to get your car out of the garage,) and the seafront. Calafell is a friendly family oriented resort with a nice evening ambience, bars, restaurants etc.

Some basic maintenance was missing : a metal roller blind in one bedroom did not work, there was a slight leak under the kitchen sink (someone had stuck a bottle under it). Hob extractor flue had come loose, damaged shower curtain. Saucepan missing handle, no tin opener.. Coffee filter machine leaked. Easy things to get right, and we were willing to overlook, because we're probably too laid back. More annoyed that nowhere in the booking does it clearly state that bed linen is not included. We bought our own, as it worked out cheaper. Broadband was very poor but the office were great in providing us with a 4g box. But the big problem is the underground garage. It simply won't accomodate a car over a small hatchback size. If you have an estate car like us, or a large suv, you wont be able to turn easily, particularly if other spaces are occupied, and the tolérance between spaces (demarked by concrete columns) is about 3cm either side. Added to this the slope down is extremely steep with a right angle bend at the end, one corner of which is occluded by jutting pedestrian steps. Lots of burned rubber marks on the very steep slope. We are experienced drivers but damaged our car twice during our two week stay - total damage nearly £900. This really put a dampener on an otherwise great location. Damaged wing mirror and scraped wing on 2 separate occasions with 2 different drivers. This is a real problem because parking in Calafell is crazy - you really do need the garage space, as street parking is prized, but seriously, do not use this garage if your car is bigger than a Ford focus size. We had a smaller hire car (Fiat Tipo) when repairs to the first damage were being done, and it was just about manageable, but not easy. Any bigger car is asking the impossible.

Location is good: Lidl and Mercadonna-3 min, sea-3 min

linen and towels were not included into the rent and there was no information about it before arrival. The office of the company is located in 8 min walk so we needed to go there for 2nd time and to rent linen and towels. There were not mosquitoes net on the windows so for the 1st 3 days we were bited. The air conditioning is located in the dining room so for nights we had to open windows and let mosquitos in. The internet (WiFi) worked well only in one bedroom. If you work & travel this apartment is not for you.
