La chambre.... Très vétuste... Sale ? Moisissure.... Très mauvaise insonorisation...

Quieter than I had expected given the central location.

Needed maintenance badly, the poor repair to the door of the room was an early indication .Curling carpet tiles and a hanger loose on the bathroom door added to the air of neglect. A visitor with mobility problems might struggle with the several flights of stairs ( no lift) during which the filthy windows could be observed.

When we arrived a man came out of the side door when he heard the motorbike. To say we were not allowed the park the bike As I was unloading the boxes ( panniers) he give my wife a room key and instructions on how to get into the side door. He then disappeared, getting in was a hit and miss affair. ENTER THE CODE FORCE THE DOOR INWARD, THEN PULL HARD. This you had to have several attempts. Our room was in the attic the bed was at an angle to help from hitting your head. The manager never appeared again. We went out and when we returned it took several attempts to get back in. Although we had paid for two nights, we left the next morning fearing if we went out we may have been unable to get back into the Hotel

This family run Hotel is exceptional. I would have paid €80 not €59. Breakfast is only €7 but worth at least €10 / €12. Lunch and dinner are off the scale. The owner Bruno is a human dynamo. The Chef deserves a Michelin Star rating. Absolutely Magnifique!!!!!!!

Old equipment of the room. Room was very small. Bathroom small and old.

Location was excellent, in the middle of town next to two carparks, which on Thursday's become the weekly market. Have to buy a disc blue, from the tourist office for €2, to park during the day for up to 1.5 hours. Parking between 7pm and 9am was no problem.

Our small room was at the top of 3 flights of stairs, as are all the rooms! Bit of a struggle up and down if you have any infirmity! Room was only vacuumed once in the 8 days we were there, staff did not make the bed and the sheets were not changed at all, although the towels were changed daily. The room itself was in a poor state of repair, with peeling wallpaper and a sink that threatened to fall of it's pedestal. The wifi signal in the room was non-existent.

The location, the bed was comfortable.

It would be great with a bottle of water, soap and shampoo dispensers in shower. No cleaning for the second night (so no shampoo and wet towels 😊), it would not be a problem if the price was less than the first night.
