The gardens.

The sitting room and a lack of atmosphere. The decor felt very dated. The reception staff could have been more proactive in recommending restaurants and things to do in the local area.

Absolutely beautiful property with gorgeous views. Close to Gordes with wonderful restaurants and views. Excellent breakfast and a peaceful, calming environment.

It was a beautifully decorated and the beds where very comfortable with lovely linen!

The staff didn’t speak great English and were not super friendly.

Property was beautiful & spacious.

Staff could not find us a table at their restaurant on our one night at the hotel, took 45mins to take our order at the bar and gave us no alternative than to order room service. This behavior did not make us feel like valued guests.

It was the start of the season and our room was freezing cold. Someone should have thought about warming it up before we arrived. Also - whenever we had room service, the room would be cleaned the following day but no one thought to take away dirty cups etc. It was like it was someone else’s job! we had to ask for things to be removed. Very expensive hotel, but service and thought for guests just doesn’t cut it! Disappointed and after our third visit, I think we are done. ☹️

Beautiful location, lovely hotel with pretty grounds. Very friendly staff who were always very helpful. The restaurant is first class.

The only slight issue is the hotel is a short walk out of town which is difficult to navigate in the dark as there is no street lighting so a taxi is recommended (which the hotel are happy to arrange) if you are out late (or staying in late season. We were there in November so it was dark quite early)

Shower did not drain well and switched inexplicably (on its own) from warm to very hot

Asked to change the mattress- they didn’t do anything - bed wasn’t comfortable… for a 5 star hotel that they claim to be - unacceptable - breakfast was supposed to be free but they charge you for it

Fantastic location and superb place Restaurant offered one of best meals I had recently ( although just opened the day before!) superb fresh vegetable salad and lamb from Sisteron.

Service at restaurant was a little bit below what is expected for this level , I had to defend my plate as they forgot I had a main course,,,and I had to refill myself wine and water...but with little training will be better,,,

Views, pool and the grounds were lovely. Front off house staff were very attentive and enjoyed the afternoon tea.

Breakfast buffet was scanty and service in the evening restaurant was glacially slow considering it’s a 5 star hotel. It shouldn’t be up to guests to request menus and wine lists after 20 minutes of arriving. Housekeeping was poor 1) Didn’t tend to clean the room until late in the day after we had returned from a full day out 2) lack of consistency in cleaning the room and felt on occasions they just done the bare minimum (rush job) 3) Dirty cleaning cloths and glassware left in the room and the terrace (along with broken glass) 4) Ignored “make up room” and “do not disturb” sign

Facilities are very nice, especially outside pool was excellent. My children were delighted. The staff responded our various requests during our stay.
