The welcome was incredible and it’s a beautiful old family run hotel.

I think this hotel was a great place to stay. I went there by bike. I was able to store my bike safely. That was great. Also there was a water fountain outside of the hotel. That was awesome for me.
I personally don't like flies. And I saw many of them in a dinner room. That would be great if there were no flies there to me.

We have enjoyed our stay in the Chamois sooooo much. Touria and Jeff have made us feel welcome and the hotel is soooo cosy! We enjoyed Jeff's fondue enormously and it was a real pleasure to discuss with both of them around a glass before and after dinner.
there's nothing you could not like at The Hotel du Chamois. perhaps the mattress was a bit too soft for my taste, but I am splitting hairs here. Everything is lovely!

Hadn’t realized the restaurant would be closed on Tuesday & Wednesdays, but there was fondue available.

The place is run by the sweetest and most hospitable people. It’s located by the main road, in the middle of the village, and a convenient distance away from a store offering local cheeses. The hotel has its own restaurant too. The menu is based on local specialities, all absolutely delicious.
Mattresses might be a bit too soft for someone with bad back.
