Beautiful reception and Spa

Totally overpriced (US 500) given the inexperienced and rude staff, very tiny rooms, room was not heated so had to change room, check-in 15h checkout time 10:30, only a tiny bottle of water for 2 at the room.

Nicely renovated, great spa and outdoor pools, big rooms, good food. Close to schloss Neuschwanstein

This hotel is in a beautiful Alpine setting. The food was outstanding particularly the breakfast buffet. The rooms were comfortable. The spa was lovely particularly the outdoor pool and jacuzzi.

Some areas of the restaurant lacked atmosphere. It was very expensive overall although this may have been because we were travelling over Christmas.

The view was great but its located on a normal road with houses. I expected it to be more solitude in nature. The property exist of a view buildings which are connected with long hallways. It’s a bit outdated, carpet, interior, also the room. But the worst thing is that people are allowed to smoke on their balcony and the smoke comes in your room which for me doesn,t come together with the whole spa and wellness theme which is healthy. If you allow smokers then at least make a part of your hotel fully non smoke so it doesn’t bother other people.

No a la carte in the restaurant, everything is just too expensive for what you get.

Although the staff and facilities were outstanding, our room a Comfort Room (Falkenstein Panorama), was nothing special. Really no better than an average 3-4 star. Having said that the bed was very comfortable and it was clean. The breakfasts were amazing and nothing was too much for the staff who were always helpful and friendly.

If you don’t speak German, you’ll struggle with menus and all written text, as non are in English.

Waterworld is quite amazing. 2 bio pools and several other pools, saunas, etc. 5 course dinners were lovely, but a little over fussy.

The rooms are quite average for the money. We has a Firstberg Superior room and it was OK - clean, modern, but very expensive. Bathroom was tiny and bland. Gym facilities were good but there were no staff to explain how machines worked, plus, you needed a personal card fork your size for adequate use. We were told on Saturday to come back on Monday but no one was there all week.

Everything, from the time we arrived . The staff was delightful and the facility was beautiful. The service at the restaurant was amazing and the food was the best we had on our trip. I really can’t say enough good things about our accommodations in the Mountain View Suite and this Hotel.

Fantastic indoor and outdoor pool and spa areas, great little gym and fitness room and the food was amazing - we went for the half board option. Great location to the castles, lake and Fussen.

This is a lovely spot for a weekend getaway or longer. We were here on the end of our trip in Germany to visit nearby castles but were happy to have booked this hotel. The heated pool is fantastic and the whole facility is so large and spread out that crowdedness is not felt even though we could see it was busy. The restaurant translated every night’s menu to English for us which was a great gesture and sign of a fabulous and considerate host. Breakfasts are generous with lots of options. The decor is modernized Alpine and beautiful.
