== Location - is good enough: 2min to food market, 3min to 7-11, 5min to many massage-sex salons, 10-15min to Central Mall. The main disadvantage is 15-20min to the beach under the hot sun. == Esthetic: Rooms have some Thai style elements which is nice, but nothing really special. == View from the window and noise around: are differ, from my room I’ve seen the small local road and opposite hotel, thus I’ve heard bikes each 10min – so view is bad, silence is only about 2-3 of 5 stars. == Quality: Elevator. Room is small. Doors are too audible. Locks are poor, but hotel have cameras on each floor. Furniture are pretty nice and made from wood, but a little old and have some scratches. Safe was small. Towels and linen were clean. Refrigerator were big and works well. Conditioner was very old, but still works well. Bed mattress might be a bit hard. Rooms have balcony but it’s too hot outside and view is nothing special. When I left a bag of nuts on the table - by the morning there was a whole anthill! == Service: Standard cleaning, room was clean. == Additions: Nothing.

== Overall: Nice compact hotel. But when its location is good for eating at the food market and you can get many massage-sex services near – still it’s not very pleasant to walk to the beach so long 15-20min under the hot sun. When it’s not very loud around the hotel and you will not hear the main road – still it’s not very quiet. When rooms have safes – still your laptop will not fit inside them. When rooms look nice – still they are pretty small. When room was clean – still ants ruined the experience. When owner of the hotel is Frenchman and he were polite – when we make a deal that I will extend my room for more days if I will like it – still when I’ve come to extend, owner said that he already sell my room to another guest. :((( So overall this hotel is still a medium aggressiveness business, when the income for the hotel owner is still more important than the convenience of the guests. Price can be a little low. But anyway, hotel is OK. (You can see video on my youtube channel by nick name.)

The staff were helpful and friendly. Room is spacious, clean and modern enough or my needs There was a small pool and deck area on the roof. Small balcony with chairs, table and airier for trying clothes No reception staff after midnight, electronic key entry Right next to the market with lots of places to eat and a couple of bars.

This is not complaining as I was aware of it at the time of booking. I saw 2 rooms, both spacious, but this is a city hotel, so views will be of the next building or in the superior room a view of a quiet road.

Hotel Siam is a lovely hotel, the owners Jane and Alesha made my stay comfortable with their friendly easy going nature. Room was kept spotless by the staff. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was good value for money. The lady who runs the hotel was very nice. Walking distance to everything in town. Large room and bathroom.

Great location and well run

Always love staying here even before the pandemic. Jill our host and owner from France is always so accommodating and number 1. Rooms massive and cheapest in patong. Rooftop pool for under 30 dollars aussie you cannot beat it.
