Friendly welcome, charming building, clean and comfortable room, great sunny location close to the centre of Châtel with an amazing view down Val d’Abondance

Location, easy walk to town with lovely view from the balcony. It was very clean.

The place is tied and in need of a complete renovation. There is a shower hose attached to the bath taps but you have to sit in the bath to have a shower and hold the hose. The pillows have very little stuffing and need replacing. There is no jug or alternative ways of making yourself a coffee or tea and the rooms could benefit from a small fridge. There is a room on the bottom floor with a pool table but no fridge or modern facilities that you would expect in family run hotel. Its a shame as the building could be amazing but needs some major cosmetic changes and modernising. The days of teddy bears have gone.

Lovely staff and a really friendly personal feel to the place. Very clean and immaculately cared for.

The hotel was charmingly quaint and traditionally French. Jean-Mac was a fantastic host and the whole team were warm, accommodating and exceeded expectations. The hotel is in a great location to ski/shop/eat and drink in Chatel with a bus stop right outside and an easy walk if you choose to.

The rooms in the hotel are quite small in comparison to many of the French hotels we’ve stayed in.

Breakfast was awesomeand tge staff super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
