Great vibe at this hotel which has a fab location and really good staff
The lunchtime terrace menu is not as good as it was, all very samey and not extensive enough. Such a shame as it used to be much better.

The Service , Location and Facilities

Service by the staff and range of food options for breakfast were excellent.
The courtesy minibus is a great benefit, and was most helpful for us, as my wife has mobility limitations.
Our room was spacious and comfortable.
This is a genuine ski-in/ski-out hotel, and is brilliantly located relative to lifts for all but beginners at the end of the day.
Cold plates! Why are the plates not heated when serving hot food? Hot food generally becomes unpalatable when it goes cold, resulting in dissatisfaction, and often waste. This is something which should not happen in a top quality hotel.
Inadequate compartmented storage space in our room. Much more than enough hanging space, a fair amount of which should be given over to drawers or compartments for folded clothes.
Overpriced food and drink in the bar. If you're going to charge 9 euros for a cappuccino, at least make it more than two thimblefuls! We would have spent more in the bar if the prices had been more reasonable.

Perfect location, nice and clean rooms, convenient ski room.
Sometimes plates on the breakfast were missing and sometimes they were not clean enough. Also sometimes drinks for the breakfast were too long to wait.

The location is great, just at the ski slope.
The skiing area is wonderful.
The view from our room was amazing.
The internet was good, at least in our room.
Helpful and friendly concierge.
The rooms were ok with some things to be improved:
There were kettle and tea bags but no tea cups or mugs (only very small espresso cups).
There was an espresso machine with capsules but no milk for the coffee - milk available only from room service.
The hair dryer was dying weak - bring your own.
The staff was friendly but unexperienced and untrained. Mixing orders, ignoring guests, total lack of supervision and organization. Limited English even at the reception.
Food and restaurants were definitely disappointing. Very limited selection of vegetables and fruits. Long lines to cooking stations in the evening. Empty bowls at the buffet refilled only when asked for. Below average Italian restaurant.
We weren't hungry but that's all - no joy from eating. That's not what you'd expect from a five star hotel in France. That's well below four star hotels in Italy or Austria that we stayed before.
If you want to get a ski pass from the hotel, they charge you additional fee - ridiculous but maybe that's a custom in the area? We have no comparison to other hotels in the area - maybe this is just the usual service and food level?
Beware of traffic on the way to and from Val Thorens - on Saturday it took us 8 hours to get from Grenoble airport to the hotel by car (140km). We were told that's normal in the peak season.

Great rooms. Very convenient ski shop with kind staff. Breakfast had a variety of choice.
The location, both ski-in and in town, is a little awkward. The concierge was unhelpful with restaurant booking.

Everything! The staff were amazing, the shuttle is a superb service and the food was wonderful.
Nothing although the downstairs communal area in the spa could be a bit warmer.

location could not be better, beautifully appointed to a 5 star level but it’s still a ski hotel where you feel comfortable wearing casual wear and ski suits etc. the shuttle will take you anywhere you want at any time which is fabulous
coffees are completely overpriced. 22 euros for two cappuccinos and 7 euros for a black coffee. it’s absurd

This hotel understands the meaning of a HOLIDAY! Straight from arrival until check out the service is magnificent. Great welcome on arrival from the friendly staff. Love the design of the hotel with ski equipment. All you need is there; ski shop, ski rental, concierge who takes care of skipasses. All are so friendly and ready to serve you. Housekeeping deserves an extra compliment for the welcome feeling in the room but also for the nice 'goodnight' service with the bedding! Good size and quality of the beds, clean bathroom nice thick towels.
Christel from the Kids Club is really great with children and organises all kind of nice creative playtime with the little ones. Restaurant is good quality food, even the buffet has lots of choice and good fresh quality of food.
Ski in/out direct on the slopes. Nice shuttle service if you want to go downtown.
Really nothing to complain, all was fantastic.
Just a very very very small tip: the sleeping pillows on the bed.
The big pillow is great for hanging around on the bed and from high quality/very comfortable, however due to it's size uncomfortable to sleep on. The smaller pillow feels extrodinary cheap plastic fibres and is way to small and uncomfortable to sleep on, still have neck ache from it.

1, most of the staffs are working very professionally.
2, room is perfectly clean.
1, There's no mountain view at all, but an old building on opposite, a big dissappointment.
2, we arrived at deep night forgetting to book parking space, well the staff didn't agree me to park in front of the hotel where there were 6-8 parking space empty. And I was told to park at P2, but when I got there, there was no workers over there at all, so I left the car over there and walked back to the hotel on the snow road in that cold deep night. Finally they changed their mind to let me park in frond of hotel, so I had to walk back again to pick up the car. This is a much bigger dissappointment.
3, no balcony.
