Loved the area, super close to everything and the room was very pretty

It's a vintage property in a beautiful, quiet location in front of a park and 1 min walk from the beach. Make sure to check the pictures - if you want flashy, modern hotel - look elsewhere. If you want quirky and charming - that's your place :) We got two double rooms that were connected forming kind of an apartment with one bathroom to share. The beds were comfy, there was a fridge, TV, kettle and a balcony. The bathroom was clean and spacious and had basic toiletries provided. The place was clean and pleasant. Of course it's not a modern hotel but we were prepared for that so old furniture and features were expected. Nothing was broken though and the décor was full of character. We loved it. Check-in and checkout were fast and easy. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Great value for money too.

The quirky and charming properties of the hotel are on the verge of neglect in a few places. It could definitely use a bit more love. We personally didn't mind it that much but it was noticeable. Hopefully a good summer season this year will help improve the situation. And final note - please don't store spare mattresses / folding beds in front of the rooms! That's not a nice thing to see and it was like that for the whole stay.

The interior was quite tired, I would say painting is definitely required. I know they will be renewing stair carpets in August.

Atmospheric hotel and atmospheric room. Pretty comfortable. Antiques and interior add charm. The location is ideal for walking and relaxing by the sea.

Very, very dilapidated place. Not worth the money they charge. Common area needs urgent major maintenance. Looks like nothing has been done since 1980s. Patches of paint applied. Staircase carpet needs replacing. Room was painted but not behind the radiator. Couple off sockets without covers exposing wiring! Balcony without light just cables sticking out. Door not painted. The list is endless. Would not come back, expensive for what it is.

Good location, nice breakfast, polite staff

Entrance, lobby, room. Once you manage to find the entrance to the hotel and you are standing in front of the hotel door you already regret that you came here and you are repulsed by the dirt and neglect of the establishment. The reception and the main staircase look like a set from a bad horror movie. The rooms are not better - balcony covered with dirt and pooped by birds, blocked bath tub, traces of the previous hotel guests on the bathroom tiles and toilet, ants marching across the room, not washed blankets, stained walls, dirty floor and dust everywhere.

Everything was perfect

Eden is a family business with a hundred years of history - and it shows. It's a spectacular house (wooden staircase, wow!), located in a quiet place about a minute away from the sea (Zatoka Gdańska, to be precise) and three minutes from the Sopot Pier. And it's been a pleasure to be there from arrival to departure. Competent and friendly stuff, excellent breakfast with scrambled eggs or pancakes done by request on top of a rich buffet with meet and vege options.

It would be very difficult to find anything that I didn't like. Maybe there should be a lift for elderly visitors with heavier luggage, but it wasn't there originally, so why should it? Slightly squeeking floors? But they're made of wood and are part of the atmosphere-experience.

Everything okay

A great, authentic house that reminds you of other times. We immediately felt very comfortable. A nice counterbalance to the omnipresent hotels that look the same everywhere in the world.

The joints behind the bathtub were partially black/moldy, that was the only negative detail we noticed. Apart from that, the room was very clean!

Buffet breakfast is ok and there is a large sitting room with sofas where we shared a bottle of wine bought at Lidl (excellent German supermarket). Very good value for money. Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend.
