Great welcoming staff, they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Breakfast is great. The estate itself is big and amazing to walk around.

A Gracious, homestead with amazing staff, set in beautiful gardens. After a long day on the road from Cape Town, I was warmly welcomed and shown to my cosy, well decorated room with all the amenities needed to relax.

Wow - was für eine tolle Anlage! Das Hotel hat einen tollen Kolonialstil, einen wunderschönen Garten und ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die zuvorkommenden und netten Mitarbeiter - wir haben lange nicht so freundliche Menschen erlebt. Das Essen war unfassbar lecker - vor allem im hauseigenen Restaurant. Ganz besonders haben wir uns über die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten gefreut, welche jeden Abend nach Rückkehr im Zimmer auf uns gewartet haben.

Unser Zimmer war leider direkt gegenüber des Restaurants, sodass es vor allem morgens, wenn schon einige Gäste gefrühstückt haben, etwas lauter wurde. Es war außerdem ein wenig eng, da zwei sehr große Sessel direkt im Zimmer standen. Dies machte dem tollen Aufenthalt jedoch keinen Abbruch.

Everything was great from the moment we arrived. The staff just made the experience. They go above and beyond in everything they do. The location was great. We will definitely be back.

Everything was perfect. The room, the stuff, the environment, the food, the hospitality, the treats. Such a beautiful, elegant and wellcoming place. By far the best hotel I've ever been. Highly recommended! The best value for money!

Incredible resort. Not far from Plettenberg Bay we found ourselves immersed in a world away from the city. A parenthesis of serenity and peace. Welcomed very well by the super friendly and knowledgeable staff, we felt pampered and loved right from the start. Very spacious and cozy room with everything you need to relax. Upon arrival a good bottle of white wine to welcome us as well as a handwritten letter from the staff. In the evening while you are at dinner they come by to rearrange your bed, leave a treat and a hot water boulle to warm your feet with. As well as the classic good night note. We tried two of the three restaurants definitely good and with several focused choices. Interesting wine list with many South African choices of course. Breakfast buffet and a la carte. The rooms smelled a bit musty. Definitely the rains at the time we stayed did not help.

Nice breakfast and beautiful grounds. Friendly staff. Room was very well appointed.
