Close to where I needed to be. Part of the staff was helpful. Parking was available on a side street.

Reservations through Booking.com are NOT valid. The owner expects to be contacted by phone as they may not have a room available when making a reservation through Booking.com. We got a room away from the main building without AC at peak summer temperatures. There wasn't ANY WiFi in this building. The room looked clean but we found a used sock behind one of the courtains so I can assume it was't vacuumed after the last guest. Overall, i hope i'm not forced to visit this place again.

Nothing to like, awful experience.

Old furniture, dirty worn out sheets, AC not functional, dirty bathroom, dirty pillows, uncomfortable bed, dusty carpet, spider webs in the corners, thin walls, very noisy. We had made the reservation through Booking and the minute we walked the door and said this the owner immediately said she does not work with Booking, she refused to even check for our reservation, started yelling and treating us poorly and did not want to take us in, insisting that we should have called and booked directly with her. We were unable to carry a civilized conversation with her. Eventually her husband stepped in and he did found our names in their system but gave us another room, not the one he had received the confirmation for and it was awful. I am absolutely convinced that the positive reviews for this property are fake. Do not recommend them.

I will say something in a general note: For several years, we are used to normal things seem abnormal or, at best, exaggeratedly good. But, let's not forget, they are NORMAL, that is, as they should be. For example, a bed linen in a tourist guesthouse is normal to be clean and you cannot give a qualification as "exceptional" just because a maid placed it, clean, on the bed. I don't know, but for the qualification of "exceptional", that underwear, which we are talking about as a specific example, should smell like ... the planet Jupiter, or have the aroma of Niagara Falls, that is, something completely out of the ordinary. So, in general, I am surprised by the qualifications of "exceptional", the word coming from the root "exceptie", meaning something very, very special compared to common things, of course which, let's not forget, are GOOD. So, "EXCEPTIONAL" means something...like you very, very rarely meet. However, this attribute must be used with caution, that is, only in exceptional situations, which was not the case here. In other words, you cannot give the qualification "exceptional" just because the room was clean, the linen was clean, the bathroom was clean and so on. These aspects are natural, "normal" for a tourist guesthouse room. Here, at this tourist guesthouse, things were as they should be, that is, good to very good. I repeat, I am not a critic, I just objectively appreciate what I found. A very good price/accommodation conditions offered.

No problem found. But, as I said above, this does not mean that everything was "Exceptional", but only "Normal", meaning "Good" to "Very good".
