amazing grounds and absolutely fabulous staff

Interesting traditional property with traditional furniture and extensive grounds. Our room was an enormous suite - much bigger than we expected. It would be a fantastic party venue.

It felt a little tired, needing maintenance, love and care. And the gardens and grounds needed a bit more upkeep.

Poor location on the edge of town. Mist guests are put into abysmal outbuildings. Rooms need redecorating. Inadequate breakfast. Abandoned restaurant. No guest support. Saw a pool - but no idea if it was for guests, where I’d get towels of change.

The breakfast was good and the botanical gardens nearby. It is a nice hacienda style hotel

I didn't like that there was no one to greet us on arrival and that the key to our room had be left on the front desk. The 3 night we stayed we saw no staff after breakfast was served. The room whilst clean has a funny smell. We struggled to get an evening meal , we thought there was a restaurant on site. I guess this is only open at busier times. Being a rural destination there should be some kind of restaurant / food available. We had to drive out to find something, as there was no one at the hotel to ask where the nearest restaurant was.

Loved the hospitality of the people. Even though none of the staff spoke any English at all but I've never been to a place where it has been less of an issue. With some hand gestures and google translate everything got sorted quickly!

It's a hard place to reach if you're not by car I can imagine. Also, possibly because we didn't stay in prime tourist season, there was little attention to things we could do. There were flyers but that's about it. Didn't know if it was possible for us to play some Padel for instance.

The old style hacienda. It has a very nice, old charm.

The location is secluded. We knew this, but I expected a nicer neighbourhood than it was. It is mainly a place to sleepover and move around by car.

Generally OK, nicely located 5 km from the capital. Great restaurant, in fact high-class steak-house. really worth to have dinner there.

Saturday night surrounded by local groups enjoying xmas dinners, singing and later dancing to the spanish live band was amazingly much fun.

A peaceful one night stay in a grand old finca. Would have liked to try the restaurant for dinner but a large party kept very busy. However there was a quiet patio around the back where I had a picnic.

The buffet breakfast was a wide selection of traditional foods and was ample for even the biggest appetite. The location was enchanting and fairly secluded. The restaurant was amazing. We enjoyed a very warm welcome with specialist treatment with great description of the dishes available. My partner and I both had steaks and were the most succulent and flavorful we have ever tasted. A truly amazing meal!

There was nothing we disliked.

Staff was very friendly, polite and helpful where possible.

Staff does not speak English, there was never anyone at the reception, staff didn't take care of the breakfast buffet (we had to ask to clean other tables, as there were no clean ones, they were not refilling the buffet either - first come, first serve). Swimming pool was occupied by people renting the restaurant. Staff did not present the facilities available at the hotel.

Almost nothing what is worth to mention

Some points are really exceptional (in a good way) in this hotel (especially this atmosphere of Gran Canaria countryside), but in general, they need to fix many points
