Condo was clean and well put together. Parking was awkward but was fine when we worked it out. Clinton and his wife answered promptly when called to solve a problem. Would rent from again!!

The room was nicely done and the beds were comfy. The owners were really nice and responded quickly to questions. Would stay here again.

Our family had a wonderful time here. Great view from the balcony, spacious living quarters. Easy to get to and very friendly staff at desk and shuttles.

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the property or the accommodations. It's a great location and there's a pool and hot tub it's great for kids and the apartment is newly renovated very comfortable and well appointed. And everything that the hosts have listed is accurate according to the apartment. The condominiums are welcomed and neighbors who live there are very friendly and accommodating for weekend visitors. Do keep in mind if you stay there there is no parking directly on site. It's a little bit inconvenient because you have to take a shuttle from a parking lot up to the condominium complex. It makes going out at night less convenient if you have to pick something up at the store et cetera. But they do call for a shuttle for you from the front desk and from there it's only about 5 minutes to your car. But still not the most convenient. The front desk attendant told us that they only do that at high peak times so the shuttle is not a necessity year round apparently. Our hosts were wonderful, accommodating, and answered all of our questions!

This property has recently received a complete update and renovation. The owners did a fantastic job bringing it up to date and making everything comfortable and convenient. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture, plush linens and even soft comfy throw blankets. We have stayed in a few different units at Sugar Top and this is our new favorite.

We plan to stay here again because the price is low and we just wanted a place to sleep. While this unit is not for everyone, it was a great bargain and met our needs well. On the up side, the slopes are just 8 minutes away, the view is great, the condo pool, hot tub and amenities are good, the bed was comfortable and the unit was clean. However, if you are looking for a renovated high-class experience, you will need to pay more elsewhere. This unit has original (I guess 25 year old) everything, has minor broken furniture parts, stains in the carpet, some water damaged sheetrock and is in need of fresh paint. The antiquated microwave is so small that a full sized plate will not fit. It does not have dedicated WiFi in the unit and the guest signal is spotty at best. My Version phone had sufficient signal to provide a hotspot for my laptop, so that was a non-issue.

The property serves our purpose and the owner was top notch at response time and general friendliness. Parking is as fine as the shuttle wasn’t running which allowed us to park really close! Did not know about the bus to the alopes until late. When called to check with front desk, they said the correct switch was turned on- Finally, after the third call, they sent the maintenance man and it had never been turned on- It could have been fine; but this ruined it for us!!

VRBO was so easy to do. This was our first rental through an on-line agency. Did not enjoy the parking situation...too cumbersome, and although our van driver was very nice, there needs to be a better way to park and access the unit.

Top of Sugar Mountain has a wonderful view, great weather and was perfect for a relaxing stay.

The parking situation with the shuttle was a little inconvenient however the employees were so kind and helpful that we enjoyed time. Perfect spot for access to ski sugar and close to banner elk and Boone. Kids enjoyed the hot tub and pool area. We will definitely return.

Condo was exactly as described, and looked like the pictures. For the price it was a great deal. Very spacious. Very close to ski slopes.

Really nice stay, condo was clean, awesome views, great amenities. Only downside was the commute/ shuttle between the parking lot and the condo and I wish there were more towels provided in the condo, or a notification to bring your own if you want more than 1 towel/ person for the trip. Still give it 5 stars!

The condo was cute and met all of our needs. The appliances were a little dated, but they worked great! We didn’t go yo the mountains to see appliances though...the view of Grandfather mountain was amazing! I would definitely stay here again!

I enjoyed my stay. Perfect for 2 non-spousal adults. Even though you had to park away, shuttle service was always available and prompt.

Car accessibility with shuttle service is a hassle. The drivers were friendly but I would like to be able to go to car without shuttle...especially During COVID 19. Limiting contact with others.

Escaping from the heat for a couple of days and at the last minute, we booked this condo the top of Sugar Mountain with great views. Great spot to get to all attractions around. Condo was clean, quiet and perfect for our family of 3. We will definitely recommend.

A last minute escape from a storm threat made us a mile closer to heaven.
