We stayed for 5 nights. The location was great for all the activities we had planned, i.e. Six Flags, Zoo, Botanical Garden etc. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed having a space together. Being able to do laundry was a plus as was a full kitchen.
However, the only reasons we did not give a 4 or 5 star rating is due to the lack of insulation between the two floors. This is somewhat expected with older townhomes. Ordinarily this alone wouldn't have bothered us but whoever was staying above us had a small very yippy dog. I dont know if they live there or were visitors as well, either way it was annoying. Rhey would leave early and crate the poor dog leaving it to howl and cry in protest for over 2 hours. If you've had a long day waking up the next morning to that is not fun. The property management did respond quickly and it seemed to be curbed to an extent. Would we stay again? Probably but i would want confirmation that the dog wouldn't be there. Great location, enjoyed our stay abd appreciate the property management response.

I was a little hesitant upon arrival as the property is listed as “luxury”, however, it is an old house with all the quirks that come with an old house. That being said, the property was clean and overall enjoyable. The neighborhood felt safe and was quiet. We frequently saw people out walking their dogs or going for a run. Safety was my biggest concern so that was great. If you are traveling with a small child, I would suggest bringing your own pack n play as the one at the property is stained and I was more comfortable having my child sleep in it. The kitchen and bathrooms are very small.

Location is great for being close to attractions! Host is very communicative and accommodating. Spacious for a family of 5.
The furniture was a little worn in the family room for the most part. Could use a cleaning. Fun board games to play.

Space and location were perfect for our weekend visit home to St. Louis. 3 large bedrooms worked great for our family. Kid friendly space with comfortable furniture. Pack and play and high chair were a plus. Loved having 1.5 baths. 3 TVs were set up with cable and easy to use. Kitchen was well stocked. One parking space in back was a plus. Easy walking distance to tower grove farmers market, playground, and the botanic gardens. Would definitely reserve the apartment again.

Very close to the botanical gardens, the arch, zoo, etc… really enjoyed all of the walking trails around too, that was perfect for our dogs! Loved this place!

Had my two young children and two small dogs stay for an extended weekend. Home was very lovely and decor was tasteful. The magazines and reading material was up to date (great details), and communication was very clear. Check-out requirements were reasonable.
Only had a few notes for improvement: a single stray hair was found on the tub wall, and the inner shower curtain was discolored on the bottom edge. Bathroom floor vent was very dusty. Stairs leading to the door are very steep, so my little dogs and children had a hard time stepping down.
Others looking at this location, may be weary if they are physically bigger, as the main bathroom is narrow.
Overall, we were very comfortable and had a great time walking around the neighborhood and exploring St. Louis. Could barely tell this was a townhouse! The brick and solid structure muffled a lot of the sound. Very convenient location and would absolutely stay again!

Nice older home that has been updated and remodeled. The bdrms are spacious but the beds are very firm. I didnt care for the pillows. The half bath inside one of the bdrms was packed into what used to be a closet but was functional. The full bath is very small and cramped. The tile around the tub needed cleaning. We didnt use the kitchen but appeared to have the necessities. The living room is spacious with a nice flat screen tv and many cable channels available. The neighborhood is great with a large park right down the street with walking trails. I would stay here again. The available parking spot behind the house was convenient.

Our stay at JZ Vacation Rentals property exceeded our expectations and we thank the property owners for making our weekend problem free. Our 17-month-old granddaughter made a bit of noise when she arrived Friday night and must have upset others in the building as it was brought to our attention, for that we do apologize. I would highly recommend the property and perhaps rent it again on our next visit to St. Louis.

Nice property. Large enough for us with our 3 kids and pup. Across the street front bontanical gardens, large park a block away with tennis, pickleball courts, and playground. Good location, close to city, zoo, science museum.

The unit was very comfortable for the whole family. The location was in a very nice area of town, in walking distance to a large park and only a 10-12 minute trip to the attractions downtown.

This house was a great option for our short weekend getaway with our family. Very close to science center, the zoo, and botanical gardens. Also very close to good restaurants and breweries at the hill and the grove. Parking was very easy as well. Would definitely recommend!

In town visiting family living in Shaw neighborhood so the location was ideal.
The actual space is nicely appointed and rather large as there are three big bedrooms each with queen size bed.
A little strange to only get one towel and a face towel when for the space there should have been more. Little quirks like that and one or two other things are opportunities to iron out.
NOTE! The keypad is on the side door.

We stayed with our 2 Grandchildren, ages 4 & 10. Having 3 beds was perfect. The home was just the right size for us. We did very little cooking but everything needed for light cooking was available. The entire home was very clean. Plenty of towels. Beds very comfortable, quiet neighborhood. We walked to the Botanical gardens for the Holiday lights. We were so grateful we didn't have to drive. Really great location. We hope to stay there again as we return for another visit in the near future.

We enjoyed our stay and the house was clean and in a great location. A few suggestions, put hand soap in quarter bathroom, clean chairs in the living room, and put some towel hooks on back of bathroom door.

We dropped my youngest off for her freshman year at SLU. This was the perfect match for us. Only a couple miles from the school, this Apartment was nestled in a quiet neighborhood next to the Botanical gardens. It was updated, clean and well stocked. Will look into this again.

We were in town for a couple of Cardinal games and this was a great alternative to staying down town. About half the price and just a 10 minute ride to Busch Stadium. It’s also less than a mile from the famous St. Louis neighborhood The Hill with wonderful Italian restaurants.

The neighborhood is very charming, and the house was comfortable and easy to stay in. We found a great coffee shop nearby, Fiddlehead Fern, great coffee shop! Tons of great restaurants too! We love this area of St. Louis: walk to park, gardens, restaurants and shops! This rental is great for friends or family get together with variety of rooms, porch and yard for gathering. Decor and furnishings are very functional especially for a dog-friendly space, but I would not say "luxury". Only suggestion for improvement would be cleaning the outdoor porch and entry (needed). It was great to have friendly neighbors as our 2 year old puppy was frequently noisier than I would have liked. Service is great: we had a need at end of rental met with perfect efficiency!

The house was in a clean quiet neighborhood. We were close to I-44 which took us everywhere we needed to go within minutes. The off street parking was very nice. Highly Recommend
