Tapulitalo was perfect for my one-night visit to Turku. The property is so clean and the room was delightful. Bed was comfortable, and the pillow was the best I ever had when sleeping outside the home. I also got a chance to take a sauna, a pleasant surprise on a Sunday evening! And, in the sauna toiletries and bathrobe are provided by the house. Susanna was the most excellent host!

Great host. Very comfortable house, clean and very well equipped. Susanna is always taking care for you to be like at home. Sauna, cookies, coffee and tee, fully equipped kitchen, very good pillows and linen... Perfect!

It was more than "hostel",it had very cosy rooms like you feel home from home.Exeptional clean shared toilets,showerrooms,shared kitchen.Also you can use sauna on daily.Just 10-15 min walk to the centre.Or bus stop opposite hostel.

Owner was very friendly and hands-on: serving food, doing check-ins and checkouts. A very rich variety of breakfast served as a buffet. Both English (warm sausages, fried and boiled eggs, sausages etc.) and continental breakfast, one of the highlights of our stay. The second highlight is the traditional, simple Finnish sauna: It's hard to find a sauna with wood-heated oven nowadays in a hotel. Thirdly, the little harbor in front of the hotel offering day-cruisers and sailboats a place to have lunch or a dinner at the hotel restaurant. Also several Kayaks were offered free-of-charge for the hotel guest. The lunch and dinner were also great and there was a nicely chosen selection of wines offered. Definitely no need to elsewhere when the hunger gets you. Especially the traditional Finnish lax soap is worth trying!

I missed the possibility to rent or use bicycles or mountain bikes. The owner was about to offer these in the future :-)

A house with a soul♡

The attention to detail in the equipment and decoration of the rooms and the common areas. The kitchen has everything someone could need. The sauna is a highlight!
