Easy communication with the manager of the house - friendly, efficient, flexi le, responsive. Also, the house had a lot of small things one might need but forgot to get - such as a bit of salt and oil, sewing kit, bottle opener. :)

Perfect place to spend vacation!

We (two adults) stayed in this property for six nights in early March at a time when the corona crisis was picking up in Spain and severe winds swept the country for days on end. The all-in price was EUR 48 a night. The house is part of a row of 10 houses facing another row of 10 houses and separated from that row by a private pedestrian alley – given the time of year, ours was the only house that had somebody living it. The downstairs living area and two of the three upstairs bedrooms have individual air-cons, which is a great advantage during those cool early-March mornings and evenings. Also, the kitchen has a dish-washer and enough cups and plates to fill it, which is an asset that is not usually found in Spanish vacation homes in this price range. Overall, we had a very good time and enjoyed our stay at this property.

Upon departure, we shared a couple of observations on such things as failing water pressure in the upstairs bathroom and smells from the sewer system with Javi, the friendly young gentlemen who apparently looks after the house on behalf of a friend’s upon departure. A few days later, we got a message from Javi telling us that he had done some investigation into the cause of our observations and that he has started making some improvements. We were glad to learn that our feedback had been appreciated. One last improvement idea: one large towel per person and one smallish towel to share seems to be a bit below the usual standard in Spain as we have experienced it so far.

The host Javi met us on arrival and the key hand over was swift. He was available to answer questions by phone whenever we had one. He was punctual on collection of keys. An excellent host. The property had very good facilities. Dishwasher is a great boost for me. The bed was extremely comfortable. Hot water all the time. Good cooking facilities and plenty of crockery and cooking pots. Fantastic property for a relaxing break. Wonderful terraces for eating out side.
