I found the steep stairs difficult. It would have been impossible for someone with more mobility problems so it should be mentioned in the description that they are very steep cottage stairs unsuitable for the disabled.

they had forgot to put the heating on before we arrived so it was freezing in the house

The key box was wide open on arrival. Overall I felt this place was adequate but not amazing. It is essentially the space of a studio flat, and given the price of it I didn't feel it represented great value for money. We had friends staying in another house in town and it was much nicer and well appointed. The living area was a bit drab if I'm honest.

Great location, free off site parking but room to pull up outside the front door to unload the car, lovely modern interior including a very nice shower and a really comfortable bed. A little cold at times but the heating was easy to use.

Nice cosy little cottage situated in the village. Short walk from the car park. Towels were of a good quality. Bathroom and bedroom were nice.

Bit disappointing there were no matches or a lighter to get the fire going. The front door was draughty so a draught excluder would have been good.

Loved the Location No secure garden to let the dog out but really enjoyed the early morning short walk around the village hall with my dog as the sun was coming up over the hills and a stroll in the darkness of the evening, so peaceful.

Me and my partner had the most amazing 4 days away. This cottage was perfect, it had everything we needed! So so cosy and great facilities. We had planned to go out for a couple of evenings which we didn’t end up going out as we were so comfortable and the local pub ‘Ye Old Nags Head’ did takeaways. If you have availability and want to go to the Peak District, book this cottage!
