It was very quiet and secluded. The kitchen was well equipped. The decor was very tasteful.

We liked it all. Although there was supposed to be firewood, which was not there.

Lovely, homely cottage. Had everything we needed, lots of utensils, cleaning products, linen. Small living area, but it was fine for us. Good wifi, so we were able to stream onto a tablet in the evening. Comfortable beds.Safe enclosed garden with neighbouring sheep. Central location in a quiet area. Would happily stay again.

9am check out was slightly too early as we like to have a clean around before we leave. Would definitely benefit from a small lay by at the side of the house for parking. It was very muddy which then got walked into the house. We carried the dog from the car and it wouldn't feel that safe with young children getting out onto the road.

Lovely secluded cottage, with cosy accommodation. Lovely to sit out in the garden in the evening. We even managed to get the log burner going!

Some reviews criticise the parking but we managed fine with two cars, although it was a bit of a nuisance to have to drive past the cottage, turn round and drive back. The hot water was also a bit slow, and it took ages to fill a sink to wash up!

An old traditional cottage in an isolated site. Comfortable and all necessary facilities.

Lovely quaint little cottage, well equipped, warm and cosy. No TV but we just took our own and had a perfect picture with portable aerial. Very nice people also. Thank you very much we had a lovely time and would definitely return xxx

Very quiet and private location. Quaint cottage. Great outside space. Thermostate fixed fairly quickly, when boiler packed in.

No microwave and no TV (despite the booking.com facilities description suggesting there is) - not normally a problem for me, but my stay was during the Euros. Smelt a little bit of damp. Very limited space inside. Parking is extremely tight (I'm not sure why a small parking space hasnt been made to the side of the house)

The books, maps, ceramics and art works. The garden.

No microwave. Not enough space or easy chairs for four. Lockdown meant it was cold, damp and slightly smelly. Dirt under doormat.
