Spacious, extremely clean and warm,
well located for town

Very clean and modern, had everything we needed. It is up a steep hill which might be a problem for some but wasn't for us, it also means you have an excellent view of the estuary and sea.
There are a few reviews that mention people passing your front window as they enter the property to access the other apartments. We were there for 3 nights and only saw 2 people so for us it wasn't a problem - people tend to be discreet and pass through quickly anyway.

Modern, spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Parking is at a premium in Salcombe so we appreciated the designated parking space. Watching the sun rise from the little terrace over a cup of coffee was a great way to start the day.

Lovely place to stay, perfect for a couple.
A very steep climb back up the hill to get back to the apartment but it's only 10 minutes walk from the centre of Salcolme and we didn't mind really.

Occupants of the other apartments could see right into the apartment when they entered the block.
Would have preferred a bottle of fresh milk rather than long life sachets.

Very clean, well equipped
Rear terrace paving loose and no outside cushions. No.blinds front or back and everyone in the building came right past our window and looked right in at the front. Anyone in the rear would look.straight into our bedroom

We liked the overall presentation, cleanliness and size of rooms. The views of the estuary were an added bonus. Easy access to the town. It was nice to visit a property we knew as a hotel from 44 years ago when we spent our honeymoon there.
Don’t think there was anything to not like, very well equipped nothing lacking at all
If you could make the hills flatter especially Acland Road it would be perfect 😁

Hot water was scalding hot. Mirrors badly positioned in bedroom.

The apartment was lovely. Everything we needed. Wi Fi was great. Great outdoor areas front and back.
the location. it was so hilly. If people have mobility issues they should not stay here. We couldn't walk down or up to the apartment from the town. Had to catch cabs.

Light and airy accommodation. Very clean and well equipped. Finished to a high standard with outdoor space at front and rear of property. Beautiful view from sitting room over the Estuary and surrounding countryside but a steep walk back from the town. However, if l ever came back to Salcombe l would want to book here again without hesitation.

Beautiful views, which sadly was reflected in the mountain we needed to descend and climb each visit to the centre! We took to long circuitous routes to minimise some of the gradients.
Salcombe is a lovely destination with good bus connections (ie minimising difficult car journeys)
Off road parking requires both hand brake and leaving in-gear
Can the gradient be reduced with a digger?
Sadly due to consequences of COVID many of the pubs & restaurants were staying closed with staff shortages.
