We had a wonderful time staying in the Caddy shack on Dauphin Island. It is a great location close to the canal, beach and restaurants. The hosts were great and the cottage had everything we needed. Great memories made:)

What a beautiful home and fantastic location. We loved the quick walk to the beach. Mybdogs loved the fenced in yard and lounging on the deck. The neighborhood is quiet and charming for daily dog walks. There's even a little community park a few blocks down that was perfect for letting the dogs chase a ball. The kids loved the bunk room and all of the toys, books and games provided. Two bathrooms was a bonus, as was the outdoor shower which became a huge hit for the the kids after beach time. Us adults loved the fully stocked kitchen and washer and dryer. The games were a huge hit too- we had fun playing dominoes every night. We brought boogie boards and beach towels, but didn't need to as the house had those provided too. We loved the beach theme throughout the house and the spaciois seating areas in the family room and deck. I could've lived on that deck with my book all week. Highly recommend this lovely home and if we ever return to DI we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks for sharing it with us.

It was great to stay the house. We enjoyed the beach with dogs and fishing. Hopefully we can visit again soon.

Great 3 night getaway with our dod. House was clean and well supplied witha fenced area for the dog. Short walk to beach. Great hosts and great stay.

It was abolutely fantastic for our group of 5. Property owners make sure your stay is as pleasant as possible. It really is just a short walk to the beach.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and absolutely plan to come back! It’s a hidden gem of a rental with easy beach access (quick walk across the street), a tidy house with all of the conveniences you could need and very responsive owners. My two boys (5 and 6) love the bunk room that has legos, books, blocks and more. We like to take our bikes in the fall and use that as our mode of transportation around the island, too. Don’t sleep on this rental!

This was our 8th trip to the island. We enjoyed the easy living in this cozy house. My family of four found this house clean, cozy, and well equipped. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and the view of the bayside.

Just like grandma’s house, is how I would describe our stay in Caroline’s house. From the memorable little kid, Mickey Mouse plates that I used to have for my own children (that my own mother has in her house), right down to the softest sheets and comforters. The views were beautiful. The house was comfortable. A perfect stay for our family vacation.

My daughter, her dog and I had a very wonderful time just spending quality time together with really no worries of the normal everyday we have with work life. Just relaxing.

Love the location. It’s such an easy walk to the beach. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. So happy to see the dishwasher was added since our last stay. The beds are very comfortable with quality linens. All the bedrooms have TVs which is really great. The neighborhood is super quiet but not all neighbors abide by the leash policy. Of course that’s not fault of this property owner. She provides a fenced in pet area which is rare in rental properties. I would recommend this house to anyone I know going to Dauphin Island. It’s all around wonderful place to stay

We’ve visited the island for years and stayed in lots of homes. This one was by far the most well stocked and cleanest! Owners were very attentive and the location/price can’t be beat!

Cute, clean house. Plenty of room! Great bed linens and a wonderful experience for our pup Millie! Small fenced in enclosure for her while we were away. Outside shower was the best!

We enjoyed our first trip to Dauphin Island a great deal. Weather wasn’t the best but it was December House was excellent, clean spacious and fully equipped Owner was the best helped us immensely Would recommend highly!!!!

House was cozy and nice for the 2 of us and our dog. Easy walk to the beach across street -our dog loved! House was clean and free of other dog smells, etc. Short drive to west end and east end beaches. Husband fished those three catching 5 different species of fish. . With a couple days of cooler yet comfortable temperature we had a wonderful time Favorite restaurant was Island Grill, we liked Skinners steamed seafood platters too. Enjoyed sweets from Dinner’s Ready. We visited Ft. Gaines, Indian Shell Mound Park and Dauphin Island public beach. Thanks for your hospitality!

Loved everything about this place. Location couldn't have been better with a slight walk to the beach and close to local restaurants and convenience stores. Wonderful water views from the wrap around deck. Best part was meeting the host who was wonderful when I locked myself out and was there within minutes. I highly recommend this beach cottage for your stay at beautiful Dauphin Island.

We had a great time staying here was very clean and well kept the property owners were awesome! We will definitely be back!

Great getaway just the two of us with the dogs! We decided to stay an extra day! Coffee maker wasn’t working early in the AM and they had it replaced within 10 minutes.. pictures of the perfect cottage don’t do it justice! Very clean, supplied us with all the beach necessities, even the rain didn’t damper our stay!

We thought a nice getaway very close to the beach, but unfortunately the marker in the Vrbo app is off compared to the real location, which is on the other side of a very active road. The house was well equipped and the deck for sure nice, but the accommodation could have been cleaner. As examples, Dog hairs were still there from a previous rental, grills were not clean and there will still empty bottles in the shower. The house was full of warning signs which did not give a very welcome vibe. Overall we still had a nice stay, but it does not compare to other places we have stayed as a frequently traveling family.

This home is full of little touches that make staying here extraordinary. From the guest book, an island guide book, downstairs out door shower, plenty of games and books for those rainy mornings, this place has something to keep you happy when you’re not on the beach!
