Modern house at Wells Beach
Esta es una casa unifamiliar en el Refugio de Vida Silvestre Rachel Carson. Las vistas son simplemente increíbles. A 1 cuadra de la playa. 3 habitaciones Queen y 1 habitación con literas para 4 personas. Hay 2 baños completos. Una de las 2 duchas tiene una bañera. Hay una sala de polvo del primer piso y una ducha al aire libre. Cable básico y televisores inteligentes en cada habitación y en la sala de estar. La sala de literas tiene cubículos con enchufes / USB para cargar dispositivos electrónicos. La sala de literas también tiene una playstation 4. Despite less than good weather, this house doesn’t disappoint. We love the location and the size was perfect for our extended family of nine. The picnic table umbrella was broken but thankfully because of the weather it wasn’t needed much. I’d like to see a full length mirror added somewhere in the house but ultimately, this rental is practically perfect!

This was our third year staying at this property and we will return again next year. The location is perfect with amazing views of the marsh all around, great for nights by the fire pit. The quick walk to the beach is perfect for our two young kids when we need to come back for lunch and naps. Another great week!

We loved our stay! The house is in an amazing spot with a quick walk across the street to beautiful Wells Beach and a private backyard right on the marsh. We were able to have both sun rises and sun sets right there. We loved the fire pit! The house was very clean and had plenty of space and amenities. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms all new and updated. The kitchen was very well stocked with anything we needed. Loved all of the windows! We've already booked our return for next year!

This property was perfect for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration with our 2 adult sons and their families. The home was spacious, clean and had plenty of towels for the beach and for showering. There was enough cooking pots and pans and dishes for all 9 of us. Truly an amazing home away from home. Will definitely book again!

A backyard overlooking a parcel of the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge provided beautiful sunsets every evening. We had the pleasure of seeing numerous birds including a bald eagle every day. A short walk to the beach made it easy to go back and forth throughout the day. The house is a beautiful new home with great bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was small for 6 adults and 4 children but that didn’t dampen our experience.

Second year at this property, and we will be back next year. Amazing location, very quick walk to the beach which is very important to us with little kids. Clean house with views from every room. Also enjoyed the fire pit every night. With the three floor set up it is great to have multiple family members stay. For future renters, there is no AC in individual bedrooms on the third floor, just in the hallway so you may need to sleep with doors open if windows and shades open is not an option (we have small children). We will be back in 2024.

We had an amazing week with great weather. The house was beautiful with views of the marsh, sunsets and the resident bald eagle. Communication was prompt and the location couldn’t have been better. Can’t wait to go back!

We’ve visited wells for years. This is our new favorite rental! Communication was easy and the house was probably the cleanest rental we’ve encountered. Plenty of room for a 4 and 1 yr old to explore and play. Beautiful views of the marsh and eagles that visit frequently. The outdoor shower was something we never knew we needed and can’t live without in future visits. And the fire pit was a nice place to wind down for the night. Easy and quick beach access too! Already booked for next year and can’t wait to come back!

The location of this property is great, it's on a private road off the main part of Atlantic Ave. This is great when you have little children, because you can collect everything you need and walk over to the beach and enjoy your day. Great options to clean up before going inside the house, and plenty of options to help you enjoy your day at the beach too. Plenty of sleeping arrangements for a long stay.

My family of 4 (kids 7&11) had a wonderful stay. Our friends joined us for a few nights with their teenage daughters and we had plenty of room. The house was as described and in perfect location for sunsets and walks to the beach. Watching the bald eagles sitting on their perch was also pretty neat. The host was very communicative when we had questions. The only wishes we had with the house was for a bigger kitchen since we cooked a lot and for an AC unit or ceiling fan in the bunk room. The kids got super hot up there and it was too hot out to open windows. We had a great stay and made so many memories. This place is a diamond in the marsh!

We enjoyed our stay for the second time. The view of the march is so wonderful and the house has everything we needed. The location is perfect for us. It is close to the beach and not far from Mile road to get to route 1. We enjoyed every minute beeing there.

This was the perfect house for a week at the beach. The location was ideal for us as we could easily go back and forth to the beach with our small child. The marsh surrounding the back provided picturesque sunsets and privacy that you just don't get at many other places. The house itself was very clean and nice, providing all of the amenities we needed. We're looking forward to our rebooking next year!

Exceptional familial experience
We really enjoyed our stay at the GreatNest! Great location and nicely equipped. Only thing to mention is the quality of cleaning on arrival. The house was not ready until 5pm and we found many items under the bed or in the drawers (empty soda cans, chocolate wrappings). We hope to come back soon!

Beautiful Sunsets close to beach!
A beautiful house for our family vacation. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach; it was really easy to get to and we were able to wheel a wagon on the private path. Hands down, the best part was the sunset over the marsh. The house is set back from the beach, but the back faces west and overlooks the quiet marsh. We loved the open feel of the backyard and didn't feel like we were packed in with all the other beach houses. The sunsets were breath taking, and we even got to see the resident bald eagle twice! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

"Great Nest" is exactly that!
The house was absolutely beautiful. Everything we needed was already there for us. And with a grocery store right up the road, shopping was a breeze. Short walk to the beach, for sunrise watching was breathtaking. Contacting the homeowner was easy, all questions answered on the spot.

This was a beautiful property with stunning views of the marsh and a very short walk to the beach. The owner responded quickly to questions. The property had everything you could ask and plenty of room inside and out for the 10 people (5 adults and 5 kids ages 7-15) in my family. The third floor bedrooms did get a bit hot as the air conditioning was located in the hallway on that floor, but overall this is highly recommended - we already booked it for a week next year!

Great new home on Rachel Carson Reserve/Wells beach
The property was great if tho a bit small in the main living/dining area. We were there w our 2 toddlers and things felt tight when everyone was in the same area at the same time. That being said, the cottage is brand new construction w a ton of wonderful little touches to make it feel lie home. The 2 bedrooms one the one end of the house have wrap around windows for out of sight views to everything around. The blackout style shades were a nice touch as it gets quite bright quite early in the summer time in Maine. An-Louise was super easy to contact and super responsive and welcoming. highly recommended!
