I liked that it was on the beach and had a spacious pool. It was probably at least 40 yards so it makes for a nice lap pool. The beach sand is powder soft, first time I've experienced that and it was amazing. No waves (almost like a lake), peaceful. Good location, quiet, the stretch of beach goes on. AC works. Dated hotel but it is clean.

Head receptionist (maybe manager?) tried to extort a 20% fee for exchanging dollars to dong. Just plain old greedy. Thank God we live in a world with all sorts of neat technological alternatives, no need after all! Joke's on you, lady! Hotel is listed as 5 stars but it's certainly not. It's a decent hotel, clean, ok buffet breakfast (get your eggs at the window) but not 5 star. If you see anything that looks better but better priced then just go with that. On the other side of the river is a lot more life and development. I chose this hotel because the price seemed ok, I wanted the solitude, and it was south of the river-mouth so I figured it would be cleaner after a recent storm (prevailing currents will push the stuff north? My guess). Not such a problem but the switch to the mini bar light is tucked to the side and probably hidden behind the coffee pot or kettle, look there. The switch for the light above the bath sink is a tiny little corner button where the plug is. It's the size of your pinky nail or smaller. But yeah, the greedy lady was the worst part of the hotel. The area itself has some cool caves and there are things for you to do for at least a couple days taking it easy.

The hotel is amazing: the room is great with a fantastic view of the seaside and they welcome you with a delicious cake inside when you arrive. The food is delicious and very well presented. The staff is very welcoming and will never let you down. The outdoor pool is stunning and the water clean and at the right temperature to enjoy it at full. You can really experience how the vietnamese are such great people!

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The facilities were absolutely beautiful, everything was amazingly clean. Food was so good that we ate there every day and night. Overall definitely recommend as it was amazing value for money.

Nothing it was perfect

Not the usual sort of accommodation we book, but nice to have a version of ‘fancy’ for a change. The pool was epic and gardens beautiful. Staff were super nice and helpful. We had a free upgrade when we arrived for a room with more space and a jacuzzi. The beds were very comfy.

The location - it was good for the beach, but further away from town that we realised. The restaurant was ok, but not in par with the hotel and pool. Soundproofing could be better.

Very nice place and everything is clean. Big pool and private beach. Good food and great pool service for our lazy pool day. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. We're definitely gonna come back.

A great space with a private beach, spacious and airy campus with lots of green trees and fresh flowers, clean rooms, bright BF with many local specialties, friendly and hospitable staff. Thank you Goldcoast for giving me an interesting experience when stopping in Quang Binh.

Mostly good staff, nice pool and fitness centre. Good price and very nice room with good view.

Breakfast was mediocre as well as the rest of the food. The facilities weren’t great, only one restaurant open (two are advertised), pool bar wasn’t there. No entertainment, live music etc and I think that is important when there isn’t much else to do in the city and you are quite far away from there.

Love the front desk lady I didn't catch her name. We went off peak so there was literally no one there however I think this is great value for money and facilities when it's a bit warmer and more people. They were very accommodating as we had to switch to them on the day as our other hotel was unsleepable

The breakfast and dinner we had there was pretty average at best and our last day they changed brekky to a la carte which was a bit annoying as we paid for brekky and had to go to a tour early so we didn't get to eat
