Un cadre exceptionnel avec une vue à couper le souffle, alliant modernité et confort. La chambre était parfaitement aménagée, et la présence d'un sauna a ajouté une touche de détente incomparable. Le service, chaleureux et attentionné, a complété une expérience où tout était réuni pour un séjour parfait.

This has been the best hotel so far that we have stayed in Iceland …room was a good size with a beautiful view.
We have stayed in a few of the Foss Hotels in Iceland and this hotel has been the best of them.
Breakfast was very good also.
The only thing that we didn’t like was the underfloor heating in our room…it was very hot in there. This was easily sorted though as we had our balcany door open all the time..we like fresh air.

Ein schönes Hotel, in dem man auch sehr lecker und zu vernünftigen Preisen zu Abend essen kann. Das Hotel verfügt über alles, was man benötigt, einschließlich einer Sauna im dritten Stock.

Ottimo albergo in posizione privilegiata nei dintorni di Mývatn. Ideale per chi fa tappa in quella zona. Stanze pulite, moderne e spaziose, colazione abbondante e personale sempre cortese e disponibile!

De ligging en de mooie ruime kamers daarnaast dat er een sauna aanwezig was en leuke bar.
We verbleven 2 nachten en na de eerste nacht werd de kamer niet netjes gemaakt.

Location.
Breakfast hot dishes were cold. Plates were cold. Lack of outdoor patio space to enjoy the view (with a drink). Overall relative value was very poor. If had a choice, I would have opted to stay somewhere different.

The Suite ticked most of my boxes; amazing long bath with a private panoramic view to surrounding Nature (once you figure out its control knobs!) Huge balcony, really spacious, tucked away from the main hotel hub of activity yet accessible by lift & convenient to the ample carpark. Front staff were helpful, friendly & efficient. Breakfast deal was full American + healthy choices.

This hotel is one of the best in the area. Rooms are very well appointed some with mini balconies to view the northern lights. Beds were comfortable and the luxury bathrooms were just perfect. There was plenty of space to hang clothes, a mini bar that you can self stock from the shop in the lobby and the communal area sauna on our floor was a nice bonus! The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is very well kept and clean (felt brand new). There is plenty of parking and even a car re-charge point. Over all it offered good value for a hotel of this class (3 star), but with a few tweaks to service could easily get this up to a 4 star establishment.
No Room service, restaurant food was adequate but nothing special and had limited choice, poor connection to international channels on tv, no pool or hot tub (there is space for hot tub next to the sauna), no free upgrades offered when the hotel was at half capacity (we had mountain view but half the rooms were empty on the lake side).

Condescending staff. ‘Computer’ said “no” to nothing in the area open at lunch time (despite after 5 min of ‘googling’ two places open in the vicinity), “no” to have a takeaway cup/glass for your coffee, “no” for late checkout despite hotel only using 10% of their capacity etc.

Nice and cozy hotel. Location is ~8mins drive from town but an awesome to spot northen light (just need to find the right spot). A nice place for staycation away from the crowd.
Room is generally big and equipped with the required amenities.
Brrakfast is decent with station serving hot food.
Saw snow/ice at the parking area.
Good place for family with kids.
Had a little wait while checking-in.
