The breakfast was great- enough time to eat it started from 6 to 10 30. Many options! The rooms felt private, we were not disturbed. Cleanliness great, daily cleaning, some surfaces needed renovations but that was tiny and my only complaint - it felt like home away from home, oh and the staff was amazing! So accommodating and friendly! And they spoke English! It was soo very welcoming. Oh and the rooms have speakers too! They thought of everything!

The hotel was spacious and modern. Everyone from the staff was very friendly.

The location was not really convenient for walking or taking the bike to any attractions nearby. Taking a taxi was a must. But on the other hand taxi prices were not too high.

Amazing place. It’s very modern and luxurious in deed. Located a bit far from the center (30 mins by taxi which s incredibly cheap there) but in the best and most fancy district. Besides it’s not true at all there are no shops and eating places near by, it’s plenty of them just by the hotel. The room s very cute and modern, so cool bathroom with the straight view to the sea and the islands from higher floors. Breakfasts re good enough, diners with buffet re absolutely amazing, they totally cost their price. An other untruth that the staff don’t speak English...yes it’s unique in Xiamen, but some of the Hualux staff have fluent English and they re trying their bests to b helpful in all...big thanks to manager Nikita, and Lily from the reception. Highly recommend this hotel, I will definitely come back

It’s really strange that in such huge double room there’s a tiny wardrobe with so little space for clothes even for 1 person. An other nonsense fact there’s no extractor hood even in toilet, not very nice to use it. Sorry to say ... but one day I also noticed cockroach in the room, though I have to say hotel seemed very clean. Was very upset with the guy in the reception who sent us to wrong terminal and we hardly didn’t miss the flight, he checked and assured us several times but was knowingly wrong
