Fake deceiving pictures of the rooms. No one to talk to the so-called Brian is abroad then boom an old man comes claims it’s his house but he has nothing to do with tenants only Brian. He said I’m not obliged to stay there and I said I want my money but to no avail. Disgusting oven so unhealthy to use. One pot to serve four families as it is a four bedroom cottage. One faulty under-counter fridge freezer to serve four families. Bed linen or rather the room was never cleaned for the last ten days of our stay. I’ve got all the pictures of the place but my wife says the writing is enough let me not post them. I advise anyone thinking of booking at Comfy cottage to think twice. 👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿

There was no hot water in the kitchen....spider webs everywhere....the net did not work.....very dirty😡

It was terribly cold! Creepy and no hot water! This guy who rents it doesn t care about guests.

We arrived and couldn’t access the key as the code we were given didn’t work. After several attempts by us and someone who lives there we were finally given a different code for a different room. The first thing you notice when you walked through the door was the smell! It smelt like a dirty ashtray the skirting boards and rug are all filthy and all the doors had dents and wholes some of which had been badly repaired. The bed was broken. It was really late so I messaged first thing the next morning. Brian asked me if I wanted someone to come and repair it or replace it. I said it would be better to replace as it was not fit to sleep in the divan frame was broken inside and the front of the bed slopes down making it impossible to sleep in. I waited for hours for a response and finally messaged him again to find out what was happening only to be told someone would come the next day to repair it. I asked what we were meant to do until then . I then asked if we could be moved to the original room we had been allocated … no reply! I then said asked for a refund so that we could look else where for accommodation. No reply for quite some time. At 10.05pm after waiting all day Brian sends me a message and asks if I want someone to come down now to repair it. By this point we were very tired and felt very let down by the accommodation I said no I would rather have a refund and move on. Brian then used this as reason for not refunding saying I had refused to let them come and fix it…. Brian then arrived late afternoon the next day to repair the bed. We went into the kitchen while he repaired the bed. When we went back in Brian had had the bed on its side and it was clear from all the dust that this bed had not been cleaned under before it was filthy there were sweet wrappers and chewing gum on the floor and he walked away and left it like that.

Located close to airport

Beds / mattresses / pillows well beyond their best very uncomfortable . Bedding had stains . No covid controls visible . Window blinds very worn and wear threadbare . On a positive the Brazilian lady was helpful and polite when sorting out keys for us .

Other guests were very nice.

The people there are really nice and receive the guests well, I liked it!
