Die Badausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Exceptional spot for the view on the ocean and the calm of the surroundings. The garden is pleasant with lot of vegetation. The stones inside the house brings a lot of charm, as well as the wood fire smell. We had all the equipment we needed.

The entrance doors are small. The switch of some lights in the living are difficult to reach.

we enjoyed our stay and the host was very welcoming.

The outside area.

The views were simply spectacular. You woke up and went to sleep to complete silence beyond the palm tree rustling outside of the window. The traditional cottage-style home has such unique and special touches from the indoor wood-fired oven, log burner fireplace, outdoor kitchen & BBQ and perfectly placed hammock looking out over the Atlantic. I can't express just how idyllic Carlos and Mauricio's setup is. The complementary honey cake, wine and matured cheese are the perfect welcome and introduction into Madeiran culture. Out of all of the places we visited during our 5 day stay, no other point in the island compared to the serenity of Faja de Ovelha and specifically Casa dos Falcoes. Thankyou so much for making this a truly unforgettable stay.

I have no possible criticism of the home - but for the area, of you are vegetarian or vegan consider doing a food shop in Prazeres (10 minutes away) and preparing some food at home. The local gastronomy is very fish and meat heavy.

Beautiful place with a fabulous view. The garden is lovely. Having a dishwasher and washing machine available is very convenient. Kind host who had several restaurant tips for us. A nice welcome package with a big fruit basket.

The bed was very hard. We were surprised at how humid the house was, despite us airing it well and using the heater in the evening. As it is an old house, there are some small ants and centipedes around, because the doors have a small opening under them.

The place is just wonderful. Unforgettable view on Atlantic Ocean. Amazing sunsets! And Mauricio is the best and kindest host ever.

We loved everything!! Mauricio is a superb host ! The house has got everything you could think of: from excellent shower and toilet with the sea view to amazing garden with BBQ and a hammock :)the kitchen is very well equipped! There is everything and even more for your self-catering stay!: Fridge , 3shelves freezer, cooker with the oven. blender , toster , Coffee machine ,plenty of cutleries , baking trays , plates, glasses and..........really there is everything there! When we arrived , Mauricio waited for us with Madeira wine, fruits, eggs ,cheese , Madeiran cake. there were few bottles of cold beer in the fridge waiting for us as well!!v What a hospitality !!! Mauricio shared very useful information with us about places of interest in nearby area . Beds are comfortable and bigger than shown on photos. The shower!! WOW!! I could spend hours there !! The garden is a paradise! Very specious with open view to the sea and with very well maintained garden. We spent few days there sunbathing and Barbequing . There is a washing machine , a steam iron and central heating that guest can use for free.

Smell - it is a stone , country house with a specific musty odor.

A warm welcome on arrival from our host, who was most helpful in explaining the local area. A wonderful welcome pack of wine, cheese, boca cake, fruit and milk and bread. The house and garden are beautiful, and the view overlooking the sea spectacular with wonderful sunsets.

We didn't find anything to dislike about the property.
