The property was very clean and in a good location. Catherine, the property manager was also very helpful and friendly.

The house was very cold. Storage heaters are used to heat the property and a prepaid electricity meter must be topped up before leaving. This adds to the cost if the property. As the rooms were so cold, we needed to turn the storage heaters on frequently.

Catherine was a lovely house manager and is a credit to Trident. She had info for us on local amenities and showed us around the house. The nearby lake was a lovely feature and Aughrim is a lovely village.

After paying nearly 1100 for the week there were a few issues- house had no wifi- 2 television channels and a 57 euro charge for electricity was excessive considering the cost of the house rental. The kitchen was small and the freezer space was tiny for a family of 5 (was fully equipped though). The pump had to be managed and had to be turned off nightly but Catherine told us about this on arrival. House is situated in a residential estate not a holiday village as stated.

Katherine was brilliant and very firendly. Great help. House was perfect but a little cold due to storage heaters. Nothing to worry about.
