My husband and I stayed here 5 nights for our honeymoon. The apartment had everything we could ever need and more. Location was perfect for what we were looking for, not in a resort/touristy area but close to all kinds of restaurants, bars, and little shops. The beach was literally our front yard! Ocean was crystal clear with tons of shells (I found 7 sand dollars), sand bar a couple feet from shore. I have zero negative things to say about the apartment, beach, or area. We plan on coming back soon!

“There’s no place like home” Best part is.. that’s exactly what this felt like.. HOME! The owners Shelley and Kirk are like fam too! We went for our honeymoon/ 2 year anniversary and it was PERFECT! From beginning to end was an amazing experience. Shelley is a great communicateor and people person who really cares about her guests experience. The condo is perfectly appointed where there is almost no one passing your door. It is even more beautiful in person than the pictures. The condo literally had everything you could possibly imagine, whether your 90 or 2yrs old. There are beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, cooler, books, beach toys, you name it, it's there. Don't bother looking else where....its amazingly wonderful.

This property is right on the beach and offers amazing sunset views. The condo was super clean and well stocked with everyday items. The front door opens to the beach, and the property is close to restaurants / local attractions and has a nice pool. The owner Shelly is so helpful and was very quick to respond to questions. We highly recommend and we will stay here again in the future!

I'm so very happy I found this property! It is fantastic! The condo was very clean, well kept, cutely decorated and had EVERYTHING you need. And it was literally as close to the beach/ ocean as you can get. Located in a cute area with a couple restaurants and bars with a very short walking distance. The beaches were beautiful and well kept with lots of shells. Beautiful sunsets and the occasional dolphin sitings were wonderful. Shelley the owner is awesome and very helpful and responsive. The whole process from beginning to end was so easy and peaceful. We will definitely stay here again. And if you are looking for a great place to stay in Treasure Island you've found it! Enjoy

This property is in a quiet neighborhood but walking distance to some restaurants and bars.. We loved the fact that it is so close to the water. We could hear the surf and watch beautiful sunsets. The condo was just the right size for two people. Well equipped. With kitchen utensils and beach supplies. I would definitely stay here again.

Property in a very congested area but still quiet. owners left detailed info regarding things to do and places to eat. Shelley was wonderful and very helpful. The place is decorated very nicely and is very comfortable. Kitchen is very well stocked so eating in was no problem either.

Comfortable and well appointed condo in a great location. The view was amazing and just steps out to a long walk on the beach. So nice to wake up every morning to the sound of the surf & know there were a ton of things to do nearby. Condo is very comfortable and was well-stocked kitchen items , beach toys, towels etc.

If you love St Pete area You will love this Cozy condo ! Everything you need is there! If you're not a fan of carrying all your stuff a mile to get to the beach then this is place for you. You can throw a sea shell from the parking lot and hit the ocean. So Nice ! Not crowded ! Super peaceful and the Sunsets , Dolphins, Shells, and beach was Amazing !

I couldn’t have had a better stay, it was right on the beach, near a couple of bars. Had good surf fishing available and the property itself was great. Very well taken care of and felt like it was a home rather than a hotel

We decided to rent a condo for the weekend as we had family visiting. We had never been to Treasure Island before and always stay in hotels, so we weren’t sure what to expect with a rental property. We LOVED our experience! The property is less than 10 yards from the beach, so it was an easy walk to get set up. Also easy to go back into the condo for snacks, etc. The location is also within 5 minutes of a Publix and it’s very easy to get to St. Pete as well. There was plenty of parking. Perhaps most importantly, the owners were very responsive and invested in making sure we had a great stay. Shelley was wonderful! She sent a detailed email with recommended restaurants, things to do in the area, etc. She also left a binder full of information in the condo. In addition, the condo was fully stocked with beach chairs and equipment, linens, towels, dishes and cutlery, anything you might need. The HOA appears to be a bit strict about parking passes (understandably so considering the proximity to the beach) and the condo is a cozy 1 bedroom, so things were a little tight with a 1 year old running around, but we were still very comfortable overall. I would absolutely stay there again and would recommend it to any couple or small family.

We couldn't be happier a with our stay at this beautiful beach front condo. Shelley was so good to deal with from the minute we booked the condo to the moment that we were departing. The condo was inpeccably clean, very tastefully decorated with a beach theme, and had all of the amenities of home. The beach only being steps away from the building was so convenient! The pool was clean and warm when we went in but we spent most of our time on the beach. The condo was equipped with everything that you could possibly want to make your time at the beach enjoyable and memorable. The condo is in a quiet location away from the commotion of the main Gulf Blvd, but still close enough to take the free beach ride or walk to some great establishments. In the condo, there was a very helpful binder with with many local establishments and directions, such as their favourite food/drink spots, grocery stores, etc which made it very easy to navigate as a visitor to the area. We had a very positive experience and would definitely like to return to this little piece of paradise again. Thank you for the memories!

We HIGHLY recommend staying at this lovely condo on Sunset Beach! This is a very clean, tastefully decorated beach themed condo. You will find it extremely relaxing with the most beautiful ocean and beach views and sunsets right outside your door! There is alot to do in the area; many restaurants, parks, beaches, and shops all within a short driving/walking distance. We truly enjoyed the time we spent here for our 25th Anniversary and will plan on staying here again one day soon!

Our stay at the condo was the perfect get away for my husband and I. We had beautiful sunrises and sunsets everyday, relaxing beach walks, easy access to all site seeing locations, and what a view!!! The condo is very comfortable and extremely accommodating. We had everything we needed during our whole stay! Our vacation was so much more relaxing with how clean and organized the condo was. The condo itself is decorated perfectly for a beach vacation. It felt like a home away from home. The travelers book was so helpful for planning out dining and site seeing for trip. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay on the beach. We would love to come back to this condo on the beach again! Thanks for sharing your place with us!

My mom and I took a mini getaway here and we could not have been more pleased. This rental owner is BY FAR the BEST to interact with and is super thoughtful and responsive.. The property was outstanding and everything was so well thought out and comfortable. We could not have enjoyed ourselves more and we keep talking about going back!!! We can't wait to return : )

Our experience renting the Helbach's property was nothing less than superb. When I selected my vacation dates of interest, Shelley contacted me within MINUTES to talk to me about the property. We had a nice chat and gabbed for close to an hour. Extremely friendly, that one! First impression was fantastic, so we arranged for payment and sealed the deal. Vacation finally began and we were more than pleased when we arrived at the property. The condo is tastefully decorated in a beach-y motif (Shelley, I LOVED your little touch of Wisconsin on the recliner!), is very clean, and is stocked with nearly EVERYTHING you need for your vacation. There are several chairs and umbrellas for the beach, boogie boards, noodles... seriously - no need to buy anything extra (unless you want to bring a beach tent, which we did). There are tons of dishes and utensils, pots and pans, plastic containers, grilling items... you name it, it's there. If it isn't there, Publix is right up the street (another plus - this condo is conveniently located to EVERYTHING)! The *only* problem we encountered (which had absolutely nothing to do with the Helbachs at all) was that a friend came out to visit for a few hours and brought her small dog with her. We knew that pets were not allowed to STAY at the property, but we didn't think that a visit from a lap dog would cause a problem. Unfortunately, a member of the condo board contacted Shelley when we stepped up to the room instead of just mentioning it to me, so I hated that she had to be bothered with that. Apparently someone else in one of the other rentals had the police called on them for having a larger dog visit, so... long story short - don't risk even having VISITING pets! Sorry for the inconvenience, Shelley! SUMMATION: If this place is available when you're booking your vacation - DO IT! It's definitely worth the price and you'll love working with the Helbachs! We'll definitely be back!

For many years, we vacationed in Myrtle Beach, SC. After a week there, we needed another vacation! Very busy, long lines, traffic-not very relaxing. Sunset Beach and the Helbach's beachfront condo was exactly what we needed in a vacation. The condo was very clean, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed to enjoy the beach every day. We ate delicious meals from Snapper's Sea Grill to the Drunken Clam. We took a roadtrip one day to Clearwater, where my son and his girlfriend visited the aquarium and then we took off to Ellenton to the outlets-done in one day! A special thank you to Shelley and her family for sharing their vacation home with us!

Beautiful location, lovely beach cottage decor, very clean, comfortable seating, comfortable bed, well supplied kitchen, bath and linens, (we have rented many vacation homes over the years and have learned that these are the basics) and Shelley was wonderful to work with. We discovered this little spot called Sunset Beach on Treasure Island about 5 years ago and just love it. The building is in a perfect spot and we enjoyed swimming, walking, sunsets along with bird and dolphin watching. We are hoping to go back next year.

Retired in February and what a perfect way to start my retirement spending the month at this beautiful beach front condo! Our first visit to Treasure Island and can't wait to go back! The condo is beautiful! Beautiful sunsets, sand, shells and fun to watch the dolphins from the balcony. Shelley the owner is amazing and makes sure that you have everything you need. The location is close to John's Pass, great restaurants and shopping. My niece and I spent a day shopping at St. Armand's Circle which is only 41 miles away! Fun day! We had a lot of delicious meals and one of our favorites which is in walking distant from the condo is Sea Hags. Great food and Happy Hour! Also go to Spinners for the beautiful view and great food. Everything about this condo was PERFECT for my boyfriend and I. The whole experience was beyond our expectations. Right when you get there for the first time you instantly want to rip your shoes off and race to the water. The condo is literally right on sunset beach, which felt almost like a private beach. Parking was never a problem and there is a lot to do near by. Even though I had all these plans of places to go and things I wanted to do, when I sat on the beach for the first time I never wanted to leave and didn't care if that was all I did for the whole week. I can not stress enough about the convenience of this condo. They have the condo so well stocked with umbrellas, chairs, coolers, towels, movies, takeout menus, etc. I couldn't think of one thing they were missing! We felt comfortable right when we stepped foot inside the condo for the first time. From waking up in the morning enjoying a coffee on the beach to watching the beautiful sunsets and sitting out there until 2+ A.M. this place will take you away from it all. We can not wait to come back here again!!

This is my 3rd time coming to this condo and every time, I'm very pleased. Always disappointed I have to come back home! This is a place that is the best bang for your buck. It's within driving distant to tampa, johns pass, clear water, etc.. The view is great as you can see the bay and the ocean. You will see a lot of dolphins on the balcony in the morning and the best sunsets at night. The beach isn't overpopulated with people while it's private and so is your parking. Everything about this place is convenient. You will find a king size bed, a fully furnished kitchen, and living (great) room. The owners of this condo are very nice and make sure your time is pleasant because it's their home away from home also. If it comes down to deciding between places, be sure to get in contact and book this place! - Nick from Evansville, IN - 882 miles away and I drive every time because it's worth every bit!

If you are looking for beautiful sunsets, the sound of the ocean putting you to sleep and a great place to stay, this is it. This condo is not only charming but offers the beach at your doorstep with a fifth floor view of the Gulf of Mexico. This condo has been updated and well maintained; spotless and offers all the amenities of home. My wife was amazed at the comfort and quality of the furnishings, not to mention the views and beach. Local restaurants are wonderful, some within walking distance. But, the noise and crowds are far enough away that you feel you are on your own private beach. You must try the great Leverocks for wonderful seafood. If you get the chance, you must stay at this wonderful condo. The property owner is a pleasure to work with. Well worth the trip and our plan is to return at our earliest convenience.

I loved staying at this property! Very clean, comfortable bed and nice towels and linens. You don't need to bring a thing besides your suite case. They have left nothing out! The booking process was simple and the owner was very gracious and accommodating. I was here at the end of May Early June 2014 and felt like I was on our own private beach! not crowded at all, beach is combed every morning, lots of sea shells to gather and I could watch the dolphin swim from our room. If I left my window open at night I could hear the waves hitting the beach all night long. I have stayed in many places along the Florida Gulf and I have to say this one is now my new favorite! I will definitely come back to this beach and especially this condo!
