The location is very nice, away from tourists, in a gorgeous part of the island with lovely villages around. The staff were super friendly! The hotel itself is gorgeous, the territory, spa, lobby, especially restaurant decor were fantastic. Mattress very comfy! Room service excellent

The rooms themselves are quite old, certain places has paint peeling off or rust. The restaurant food was very disappointing for the price, there’s much better options around. Breakfast is okay, but it’s 100% the same each day - if you stay for 7 days it gets boring. WiFi hit and miss.

Personale non esattamente all'altezza di un 5 stelle: gentile, cordiale e disponibile ma non super attento all'etichetta. Tempo di attesa al check-in leggermente elevato (senza nessuna persona in attesa davanti a me) Problema: appena entrato in camera ho notato un buco enorme nella tenda, impossibile da non notare per la donna delle pulizie e segnalare la camera come non disponibile. Ritornato alla reception per chiedere cambio camera, ho atteso altri 10 min (senza nessuno in coda) e alla consegna della nuova chiave, nessuna scusa da parte della receptionist per l'inconveniente. Male.

The hotel was beautiful in every way. The lobby, the hallways, the bedrooms, the rest areas, the eating areas, the swimming pool - all were exquisite. There was a constant scent of flowers throughout the hotel. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The restaurants offered an exciting and varied choice of menu. We ate in the hotel restaurant, Bahia and at Francesco Mazzei’s Italian restaurant. All were exceptional. In particular I really appreciated the staff member Ednalyn (probably got her name wrong as I tried to catch her name on her name tag but didn’t want to stare!) - she was like a ray of sunshine and it was a pleasure talking to her every morning at breakfast.

The cleaning team threw away some of my belongings - nothing expensive, but all convenient items for me - which then caused me inconvenience. It’s poor cleaning etiquette to throw guests’ belongings away when they have not been place in or next to the bin. All of the things they threw away were on the table/bedside table/sink. I’m not sure why they threw them away and it upset me.

Das Frühstück war qualitativ gut, die frisch gepressten Säfte waren sehr gut. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam, einem 5-Sterne Hotel entsprechend, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Der Spa-Bereich und das Fitnessstudio waren prima. Offensichtlich sehr gut ausgebildetes Personal im Bereich Massage. Pediküre und Gesichtspflege wirkten eher nicht so kompetent, wenn man das anhand des Ergebnisses beurteilen will. Die Lage in mitten der Insel ist dann vorteilhaft, wenn man von dort ringsherum die Insel erkunden will. (Spazierengehen ist hier aber kaum möglich, da die Fußwege sehr schmal und überwiegend uneben und löchern sind. Viele ungesicherte Baustellen im direkten Umkreis des Hotels. Sehr günstig und schnell kommt man mit UBER überall von A nach B. Alle Fahrer waren sehr nett, die Fahrzeuge sehr gepflegt und der Fahrstil dem Verkehr angemessen. Shuttels und Taxis sind deutlich teurer.

Bei einem 5-Sterne Hotel erwarte ich im März einen beheizten Pool, auch im Außenbereich. Das Wasser war leider extrem kalt, bei Außentemperaturen von 24 Grad wäre ich gern in den Pool gegangen, was aber aufgrund der Wassertemperatur nicht möglich war. Das Frühstücksbuffet war quantitativ eher schlecht, jeden Tag die gleichen wenigen Sorten Gemüse, Obst, Käse und Wurst. Die teilweise Bestellung von der kleinen Frühstückskarte, zum Teil auch noch gegen Zuzahlung von 5€, auch hier täglich identisch, war eher nicht einem 5-Sterne Hotel angemessen. Die Preise in den integrierten Restaurants waren recht teuer. Regionale Gerichte / Speisen gab es hier leider gar keine. Keine fußläufig erreichbaren Restaurants in der Nähe.

The Hotel has everything you could want. Michelin Star Restaurant and a Francesco Mazzei Restaurant. A wonderful Spa. Staff were very hospitable. Ramesh the Concierge is probably the most helpful guy I’ve seen in the role.

The hotel was a true sanctuary in the midst of the city hustle. Its splendid garden with fountains and greenery created the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The staff is professional and always ready to assist. The cuisine was especially delightful: breakfasts were simply amazing, with a vast selection of fresh products, including juices and tasty coffee. The hotel's restaurants also did not disappoint, with each meal being of the highest standard. The hotel's location is convenient, easily accessible by public transport, and the prices for both hotel services and transportation were pleasantly surprising. An excellent choice for leisure and business activities in the city.

The most outstanding thing was the friendly and helpful attitude from your staff from the welcoming check in. The service at the pool was excellent and the lady who worked in the bar during the evenings was exemplary.

The food at the hotel is one of its best features, whether the ample variety of items at the high quality breakfast, the cafe, and the excellent restaurant offerings (we tried all three, Francesco Mazzei twice, the Rickshaw, and the one-star Michelin Bahia). You don't go to the Corinthia for cheap food, but for a great culinary experience, which you get. The room was spacious, very comfortable and clean. The service was very friendly, prompt and professional, as you would expect from a five-star hotel. We also appreciated the compensation (including sweets and a bottle of champagne) for not being given a room as I had booked.

Unfortunately, they could not give us a room with a garden and pool view, as I had booked, which was a pity, but they adjusted the price to fit the room given and they provided us with a bottle of champagne (Barons de Rotschild) and sweets as an apology (with a note). I was disappointed that the actual spa is not available for use unless you book a private session. This meant that when the hotel is busy and there are a lot of bookings, the spa is not available. This should be better explained in the info on booking.com, to avoid similar disappointments.

This property was exceptional.The staff were excellent,always very polite and informative .The room was spacious and extremely comfortable.All facilities were excellent and the daily complimentary bus into Valletta was a great addition .Food was great and breakfast plentiful.Thank you for making our visit to Malta something to remember.

Excellent, attentive staff, especially the young Indian waiter in the bar lounge. Nice for us to be recognised by one of the female waitresses at breakfast.

This is said to be a 5-star hotel. But in reality I would give it 3+. The towels in the room were so old, that some had holes in them. The tee in the room was cheap Lipton brand. (Really?!?) The breakfast didn’t have enough sweets or even traditional honey cake. The service was very very slow. They charged my CC for smth I don’t know, so that I wrote them asking what that was for, and they simply made a refund without any explanation. And finally, the thing that made me really sad on my arrival, when me and my 1,5 yo son came to see the pool, we were told that kids time in the pool was in the morning only, although we could see a small boy in the pool! I asked the spa receptionist how is that that they think other child is in the pool now and mine is not aloud. And I was told that I need to get a permission from the hotel reception!

I spent a few days of vacation here with my family in November 2023. I rate the hotel as unfriendly to families with children. The hotel offers an indoor swimming pool for children only for 3 hours a day (from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.), which for me is obvious discrimination against families with children (families without children can use the indoor pool in full opening hours). I booked the hotel on booking.com where this information was not available at all. I would never have booked a hotel that limits access to the swimming pool for children. I feel cheated. I reported the problem to the reception and asked for access to the pool because I purchased an offer without any limitations wrt indoor smimming pool. The issue was forwarded to the hotel manager but the only thing I was told was that unfortunately there is no good news for me and we cannot use the swimming pool after 12 p.m. I didn't know that nowadays you can divide people into better and worse. Childen (families with children) has only 3h but adults (families without childen) - full access! Pure discrimination! We have never been treated like this in any hotel. I rate this hotel for only one star especially for such discriminating policy against childen! Other aspects of stay was good (breakfast, location, room and cleaning service).

היה רצוי שהבריכה הפנימית תיפתח מוקדם בבוקר, שננצל אותה לפני הטיסה; ריח הסבונים לא אהבתי.

The property looks better on the photos than live. Service in Executive lounge was great, the bartender was always willing to do an extra step for all the guests.

The front office is not doing properly their job, they don’t know the time schedule of the restaurants. The spa receptionist was rude on our last day when we have checked out and didn’t want to offer us a locker because we are not the guests of the hotel.

Beautiful Hotel & grounds, lovely well appointed with large & spacious rooms. We had a beautiful balcony overlooking gardens. Very friendly & helpful staff. Wonderful pool area for relaxing.
