Die Lage war sehr zentral, die MitarbeiterInnen freundlich, das Zimmer groß und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet, das Frühstück nicht übermäßig reichhaltig, aber in Ordnung. Gut waren auch die kostenfreien Parkplätze in unmittelbarer Nähe (tagsüber allerdings von 09 - 19 h kostenpflichtig).

Einrichtung etwas basal, Frühstück könnte etwas mehr Auswahl bieten.

Berlin city council should take this place license, and they must put them out of business. This place is not a HOTEL. Hostels are much better in many ways. l arrive late they were shut down, 22:15 I was shocked, in my mind the hotels are open 24/7, l made callm a lady came like in 10 min, she explained. the building was combined with many other businesses, at each floor there is a different business. 2 floor the reception. entrance was awful. there was a little fridge, covered with chains and locks. l bought a water cause she said that they don't provide such gesture. she gave me a key, not a card. l check-in to the room. room was mess. dirty carpets from a another century, at each step the floor makes noise. a single pillow made out of a bed cover, outside is looking good but the inside is yellow. cause if a long journey l went to bathroom. so tide. if you wanna take a shower you cannot move in the shower, the size is 70x80cm. thanks god the water was hot. so l went to bed like 11:30 l opened the duvet imagine sleeping at a double bed and duvet size is half of it. so receptionist was gone. l had to sleep. l slept but no way after a while l felt cold, room is freezing. l saw the heater in the bathroom and turn it to high, but no way. still the room is freezing. l woke up 5 ish in the morning, l logging to my account booking.com waited for response for one hour, after l called booking l told them whats happening. told them to cancel my rest of the reservation, and book me another hotel. they talked to hotel management. called me back there is no way they cannot cancel it. no return of the money. etc. around 9ish management knocked the door and she said there is no way l can cancel rest of my trip. take it or leave it. and also she said you have to turn on the heater yourself which was hidden under the curtains in some sort of cabinet. about the pillow this is germany and pillows are like this. shitties place l ve ever been.

Staff all super nice, and our room is really cozy and clean.

Perfect location. The parking on the street is free form 7 pm till 9 am. Room was really spacious and clean. Generally, very convenient option for short 1 night stay.

The setting is primitive at best. The mattresses are old and exceedingly uncomfortable bordering on painful. The pillows are too soft and the furniture is old and very unattractive. The staff, aside from the reception, speaks no English, just Russian and rudimentary German. When I requested TP after 12 PM I was scolded and told the cleaning lady leaves at noon... There were very few outlets and the receptionist would provide only one power strip, which was a major inconvenience, as we had 2 computers and 4 cell phones. Very overpriced.

Was like a nightmare come true! Hotel was so cold, since that was an old building, it didn't have a modern AC. And radiator was very very old. The hotel rooms were unbelievably dirty and filled with a foul smell. As soon as you stepped into the room, you were greeted by unpleasant odors. The staff members were not only rude but also displayed racist behavior. They did everything in their power to disturb and demean us. Racist lady behind the counter didn't know a word in English and shouted German at our face. I had a horrific experience with the deposit as well. They went out of their way to try to withhold my deposit unlawfully. They were clearly attempting to take my money without any valid reason. They would randomly knock on my door in the middle of the night without any justification, which was extremely disturbing. It disrupted my sleep and made me feel very uncomfortable. The condition of the rooms was also deplorable. The furniture was old and worn out, and the sheets were disgustingly dirty. The bed felt like sleeping on a rock! Staying at this hotel truly turned into a nightmare. I strongly advise you to choose a different option for your own well-being and comfort.

Decent room, comfortable bed, clean and very bright bathroom. Location isn't bad, but you invariably have to walk a little bit to get to U-bahn and S-bahn stations (a maximum of probably 10 minutes, so not a disaster) and there are busses 100m from the entrance. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets close by. I'd definitely consider staying here again, if I were to return.

Breakfast buffet could've been more interesting, not bad, just a bit bland.

We liked that the reception staff were very nice and spoke English. We also liked the location of the hotel as it was close to the ZOO and many shopping streets, it was also close to the bus stop, close to the park and the hotel room had a nice view to the quiet street.

We didn't like that our room was located a few steps from the reception. It was a bit strange, but we can justify it by the small size of the hotel and its location in an old historical building. The second thing we didn't like was the somewhat outdated facilities of the hotel, but it was clean though. The last thing was that the hotel room only had 2 electrical outlets (or so called power socket), in which the table lamps were already plugged in. So we would have appreciated more outlets so we could charge our phone and turn on the lamp at the same time.
