Friendly staff even though no one was at the front desk at 20.45 when we arrived, but they answered on the phone quickly and we got help right away. The breakfast had a lot of options. Nice neigbourhood.

Not sure its ever been renovated. A bit expensive for the quality of the hotel.

Very good location for accessing city of Lübeck. Good free parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Good restaurants in the vicinity (accessible by foot or car). Müggenbusch restaurant was recommended by the owner. This is ½hour walk through beautiful forest path or by direct door to door access by car. Bus stop with excellent service for Lübeck is within 5 minutes walk of the hotel.

No air conditioning although there was a fan in the room. (We were there during a very hot spell in June.)

It’s a small family hotel that meets all the necessary requirements that are important to us when traveling: comfortable beds, quiet rooms, good shower and clean bathroom, good breakfast. We travelled in the summer and there were loads of mosquitos in the surroundings as it is a very green area BUT not a single mosquito could get into the room thanks to the mosquito nets on the windows. Very thoughtful detail that definitely made our stay much nicer as it was quite warm, so kind of necessary to have the windows open. We would definitely go back!

Nice hotel with spacious room, close to Lübeck, yet in a quite area. Excellent breakfast to start your day.

I'd suggest to consider putting in hardwood or tiled floors instead of the carpeted floor. It would remove the slight mold smell.
