Came to New York to spend time with the family. This house was the perfect size for our fam, the location was convenient and absolutely beautiful! The house is well stocked and clean. We enjoyed our stay, thank you for hosting us!

My family really enjoyed our stay at this house on Greenwood Lake. Everything was as said in the description. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Property managers were helpful and available if needed.

This home on Greenwood Lake found me not wanting to leave with the beautiful fall colors! We will absolutely be returning here. It was a beautiful and serene place for our daughter to get ready for her wedding day!!! Thank you to the owners for being so helpful and accommodating!

The house was neat, clean and cozy with its lovely decor, and beautifully renovated kitchen and bathrooms. There is ample space for a family with a large family room/dining room, along with a comfortable room with a fireplace. The kitchen has a table with additional seating at the counter. There are wonderful amenities: Large deck with seating, hot tub, and pool. There are large windows and sliders which overlook the lake which makes for a beautiful setting. The location is great, on a nice block and close to family attractions. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning!

amazing place great accommodations for my in laws and helpful responsive host

My five friends and I had an excellent stay at this house. We have been friends since high school (over 25 years) and wanted a convenient place to get together and enjoy each other's company. We loved the hot tub, and had a fun time walking to the local farm market, going to the nearby orchard to pick apples, and relaxing to some live music at a local winery. We would definitely stay here again. The layout of the house was excellent, and we enjoyed the back deck and the multiple places to sit down and catch up.

We had the best vaca in NY visiting Walkill and Tuxedo. The house was all that depicted and more! Clean spacious and accommodating. From the four bedrooms and three baths for our group to the private backyard with coveted seating and debit view of the lake. The hosts are five star and beyond and we can’t wait to come back next year.

The property is absolutely fabulous. Everything you would want. Clean neat understated just perfect. We enjoyed it so very much. If there’s anyway we can we’ll be back.

Was a beautiful home and very well kept. Comfortable beds and pillows. Close to many things. The lake was so peaceful and the town beach being close was a plus. The listing wasnt real accurate as it made it look like there was a dock and there is a small park with a beach right next door that we assumed was for us to use but it was private. The brochures in the notebook that was left for guests should be updated. Overall we had a fantastic time.

House was very clean and nice. No lake access and you cannot launch kayaks, paddle boards at the park around the corner, which we knew. Nice brewery and winery. Comfortable beds. Nothing bad to say about the house. Very nice.

This house was absolutely perfect for my family vacation with our adult children and small grandchildren. The location overlooked a small private community beach, and although we could not utilize it as tenants, it was a beautiful park to enjoy with enjoying the expansive deck. The town beach was only a short walk away and offered a great lifeguarded beach and some nice music events. Richard was easily reached and very responsive to any questions that might have arisen. You will not be sorry if you select this home for your Greenwood Lake vacation.

Wonderful property; Owner was easily accessible and great to deal with. Only bummer was the hot tub didn't work properly all weekend. The owner immediately sent someone to fix, and worked the remainder of the first night. Second day it wasn't working again. Besides that, great property, great location!

The house and property were amazing. It was spacious, floor to ceiling windows were perfect to allow the sun to shine inside and provide a warm welcome. The view from 37 Murray Road was perfect location off the lake, quiet and serene with a beautiful view of the swans on the lake and a short walk to the public beach and park, especially during this time of year, early May. It was also a 5-minute drive to the marina, and close to many amenities such as kayak rentals. Many birds and other wildlife to watch from this property. The rooms were spacious and clean with natural light. The bedding and towels were also clean and fresh and nicely folded. The owner was accessible to answer questions via VRBO chat. Although some basic instructions were provided for hot tub and clean up via vrbo messages, it would be ideal for the owner to have binder outlining house rules and regulations and instructions for appliances, such as the oven, washer, dryer, etc. The house could use a deadbolt on the front door while inside (with the keypad I was unsure how to check lock was secure while inside). The grill was not totally clean and ready to use. It would be ideal to have screens on all the sliding doors to have fresh air inside without inviting flies, and some of the window blinds had panels missing so we did not have total privacy in the living and dining room during the evening. Overall, a great place, and would return!

My sisters and I live in different states and this was a sort of reunion, since we haven't seen each other in a while. The House was perfect. It was clean and had lots of room for everyone. The property was beautiful and the view of the lake a plus. The Host was responsive to questions and arrival couln't have been easier. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone.

We had a great stay, house was just as described with beautiful views- 8 minutes from Mount Peter. Kitchen was better stocked than anywhere else I have stayed. Only potential downside was 10 am check out, but since we traveled with a toddler we were awake and moving early on our last day. Looking forward to staying again next year!

Very cozy and felt like home

We went to Lego land one day and the Statue of Liberty the next day. Both close enough to this location.

House is very clean and master is very large with a great view. The kitchen and bathrooms appear to be renovated. The view is visible from the corner of the dining area. Check out was alittle early (10am) and was asked to strip down all sheets (which I haven't had to do at other places. The living room was dated with a cover over the couch and old blinds (yellowing). Overall was nice

This was our 2nd stay in this house and it was better since the sliding glass door upstairs had been fixed. Lots of space in quiet area…very comfortable for our group of athletes.

The house has been beautifully maintained with many decorative items to make if feel like "home". When we had questions (only a couple) the responses were almost immediate and extremely helpful. We could not have asked for a better experience and would recommend this home to anyone.

The house was clean and appeared to be recently renovated with all updated bathrooms and in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable and plenty of pillows to choose from. They supplied everything we needed for the kids including pack n play, high chair, water table and even a little basketball hoops that was the hit. Many of the other essentials you need while traveling were already in the house such as laundry detergent, soaps, shampoos, all linens, etc. It was so nice to not have to worry about buying everything and then throwing it out at the end of our week since we flew to New Jersey. We were just disappointed that the pool was not available for use and that we could not use the beach right next to the house. It was tough for the kids to understand that they couldn’t use either. The big beach was great but we had 8 people and only 6 beach passes. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we will stay again.

I strongly recommend that you do not rent this house. I was completely lied to during the entire process (from April when I booked until August). I was told that I would have access to a beach next door during the entire time leading up to the trip. I asked multiple times about this because I was traveling with an infant, my granddaughter, who would need to go back and forth to the house. Then, 4 days before my trip they tell me that I do NOT have beach access. Basically they were telling people who rented that they could use the beach but it’s a private community beach that they didn’t have the right to use. When I found out I asked for a refund so that I could book somewhere else bc this was not the trip that I was promised. I explained that if I didn’t have an infant it wouldn’t be a big deal, but this was going to ruin the trip having to drive my daughter and granddaughter back and forth from the beach that you need to drive to. They refused to give me a refund and Vrbo was no help either. Vrbo said that they could not get in touch with the owner and the owner refused to answer my own calls. I have screenshots of all the messages where I was promised this beach access. The owner told me they didn’t want to communicate with me any more about it and to just deal with Vrbo. Although the house is beautiful, I would not recommend renting this house bc of the deception and the refusal to make it right. Then, 5 days after leaving I get an email that they put a claim in that I broke a sliding door. I videoed everything when I got there and when I left. I don’t believe we broke anything and I find it odd that they put this claim in without even notifying me first. Another problem though deals with the temperature. You cannot control it yourself and the downstairs bedrooms got really hot in the middle of the night for some reason. I strongly recommend that you do not rent this house.

The house accomodated everyone including the kids. It was clean and well kept. The only issue we had was with a neighbor who told us we could notuse the privat beach next door and kicked my son in law the property. We were unable to adjust the temperature ourselves which is very difficult with kids. Overall I would recommend this place fora great clean relaxing vacation.
